After nearly 13 years at @Twitch, I've decided to retire my staff wrench and purple hoodie to embark on a new adventure. Difficult to put into words how meaningful this chapter of my life has been. I'm so grateful to have played a small part in the lives of @Twitch creators. 💜

Exactly 10 years ago today was my first day working at @Twitch. When I joined, I couldn't have fathomed I'd still be here a decade later, but I feel extremely fortunate that I found an environment that has meant so much to me both personally and professionally over the years.

Today’s excitement comes courtesy of a failed @BMW software update that has apparently bricked our family vehicle. Currently have a 5,000 lb paperweight sitting in my garage. Very cool!

Heading out to San Diego tomorrow for @TwitchCon this weekend! Hard to believe the last convention I attended in person was nearly three years ago. Can't wait to meet new folks and reconnect with some familiar faces!

Within the past week, I had the privilege of seeing two of the best live shows I’ve ever seen: Rammstein and Iron Maiden/Trivium. Just absolutely spectacular performances.

For those who had the privilege of knowing him, they knew Kevin as a friend through work, through games, or through good wine (and almost always all three). Kevin joined Riot in June as the Global Head of Community Management after most recently serving as the Director of Community Partnerships at Twitch, where we had the honor of getting to know him, work with him, and become friends. Kevin brought enthusiasm and a bright spirit everywhere he went, and it is a comfort to know that so many of you got to know him over these past several years. His passion for community and his love of mentoring others was a huge boost to every community he served. This leaves an immeasurable loss. As he was also a deeply loved son and brother, our hearts are with his family during this difficult time.
