UPDATE: Google YES: 36¢ - 52¢. The thesis is playing out. Since I flagged this trade, Google’s odds of having the best AI model by year-end have climbed 16 points. That’s a 44% gain on the original entry price, before fees. polymarket.com/event/which-c… The catalyst? Gemini 4 Carbon. Google released it on Oct. 28, and it now sits #1 on LMArena Text at 1,528 Elo, ahead of Gemini 4 Argon (1,520) and Claude Opus 5.5 (1,509). The new model’s score is still preliminary, but the market has clearly reacted. Polymarket now gives Google 52% vs. ~40% for Anthropic, with $3.4M traded on the market.
Polymarket is pricing in an AI leaderboard flip, and I’m not sure the odds make sense. Google has an 86% chance of finishing October as the #1 AI lab. But for year-end, that drops to just 36%, while Anthropic jumps to 53%. So the market is basically betting that Google loses the lead in the next two months. Here’s what makes this interesting: Gemini 4 Argon leads LMArena Text at 1,517 Elo, but Claude Opus 5.5 is only 8 points behind at 1,509. That’s a close race, not a dominant Anthropic lead. polymarket.com/event/which-c… Google YES is trading at 36¢. If it finishes the year on top, that’s $1 per share - 2.78x gross. The bet isn’t that Google stays ahead forever. It’s that the market may be too confident about Anthropic taking the lead back. One major model release could decide the whole trade.

The 1WIN $50M commitments market at ~49¢ is a bet I really like. People are focusing on the current raise and underestimating what can happen right before a sale closes. Look at $QUID: $20M+ came in during the final 24h, including $10M in the last hour. Monad pulled in another $43M in the final 24h and ended up clearing its $187M target with hours to spare. Late money is real. FOMO kicks in, people see the deadline approaching and suddenly nobody wants to be the one who missed the sale. And there’s another factor here: the project itself has every incentive to end with a huge fundraising number. I wouldn’t be surprised to see project-aligned capital show up in the final stretch either. No confirmed evidence of that happening, but it’s a scenario I’m absolutely accounting for. The key detail most people overlook: Polymarket resolves YES if gross commitments cross $50M even once before the deadline. Refunds afterward don’t matter. So this isn’t about how much money the sale ultimately keeps. It’s about whether the displayed total can hit $50M before time runs out. At ~49-50¢, I like the risk/reward here. The market is pricing this close to a coin flip, and I think it’s underestimating what a late surge can do. polymarket.com/event/total-c…

I took Netanyahu YES at 48¢. The election looks messy. The market question is simple: who actually gets sworn in as Israel’s next PM? Current projections put Netanyahu’s bloc at 53 seats, Eisenkot’s at 48, with 19 seats held by Arab parties. You need 61 to govern. Neither side has a majority, but Netanyahu’s bloc is ahead, Likud leads the party vote, and the president usually gives the leader of the largest party the first shot at forming a government. That’s why I’m not reading “no clear winner” as “Netanyahu is finished.” This comes down to coalition negotiations. Netanyahu has been doing Israeli politics for decades. He doesn’t need a landslide. He needs to get enough parties on board to reach 61. That’s a real path to the premiership, even if it’s far from guaranteed. At 48¢, a winning YES pays $1 per share -> 2.08x the entry price, or roughly 108% gross profit before fees. The risk is obvious: coalition talks can fail. But the election result and the final government formation are two different things, and this market is about the latter. ~$76M has already traded here. I’m backing Netanyahu’s ability to put together the numbers. polymarket.com/event/who-wil…

I’m betting on NO on one of the most interesting Polymarket setups I’ve found lately. polymarket.com/event/strait-… The market has traded ~$16M, yet YES is only around 12¢. Here’s why I like this trade: This isn’t simply a bet on whether a ceasefire happens. YES requires IMF PortWatch to record a 7-day average of 60+ ship arrivals per day in the Strait of Hormuz before Dec 31. And the facts are hard to ignore: - Reuters recorded 28 ship attacks in October alone, and 113 since Feb 28. - 30+ supertankers have been damaged, including 11 in October. - Each of these tankers can carry around 2 million barrels of oil. - Daily tanker freight rates have exceeded $1M. A diplomatic breakthrough can happen overnight. Getting shipping back to normal is a completely different challenge. At ~88¢, NO pays $1 if correct, a potential ~13.6% gross return on the amount invested. My thesis: the market may be underestimating how difficult it is to restore normal traffic before year-end. Not risk-free. A rapid reopening could destroy this position. But this is exactly the kind of market I like: a clear resolution rule, measurable data, a hard deadline, and a thesis that can be tested. Let’s see if the market gets this one wrong.

The Anthropic IPO trade just got more interesting. Anthropic has officially filed its S-1, with ticker $ANT planned for Nasdaq. But the actual IPO price range and share count are still undisclosed. The pre-IPO perp briefly implied a ~$1.98T valuation before dropping ~6% to ~$1.86T, with ~$12M traded in 24h. Meanwhile, Polymarket’s first-day closing valuation market now prices: -> $1.5–1.75T at ~17¢ -> $1.75–2T at ~29¢ At current asks, buying both YES bands costs ~46¢ for a $1 payout if the closing valuation lands between $1.5T and $2T. That’s roughly 2.2x gross. The key question isn’t whether Anthropic is worth trillions. It’s how much of that valuation survives the IPO pricing process, and what buyers are willing to pay on day one. Not an arb. The perp isn’t an official valuation, and the IPO price range is still unknown. Tracking both markets 👇 polymarket.com/event/anthrop…
Anthropic at a $965B valuation in May. Q3 revenue reportedly hit $16.8B, up 45% QoQ, with adjusted profitability. If the year-end revenue run-rate gets anywhere near the ~$110B analysts expect, a $1.5–2T IPO close looks very plausible. On Polymarket - polymarket.com/event/anthrop… - the $1.5–1.75T and $1.75–2T YES bands cost ~42.5¢ combined at current asks. Either pays $1 if the closing valuation lands in that range - 2.35x gross. Not a guaranteed arb, just a bullish setup with an interesting payoff.

Real Madrid showed up exactly as expected. 59¢ -> 100¢.
Everyone sees Barça’s 9-0 start and 39 goals scored. I think the market is underestimating how close this Clásico could be. I got Real Madrid +1.5 at 59¢ on Polymarket. polymarket.com/sports/laliga… Barça are without Koundé, Eric García and Christensen. Madrid miss Vinícius and Rodrygo too, which is exactly why I’m not betting on the winner. I’m betting on the margin. Madrid can lose and this bet still wins, as long as it’s by just one goal. 59¢ to $1 payout. 1.69x gross. I’m backing Madrid to keep this closer than the market expects.
