One of our country’s biggest failures is the absence of an integrated, long-term national transport and development network. We build projects piecemeal, “chop-chop” so to speak. Take NAIA, for example. How could anyone have planned an airport network without a dedicated train connecting all terminals? Now passengers have to contend with traffic, shuttle transfers, and the hassle of getting from one terminal to another. We need a unified master plan that looks 20 to 30 years ahead, anticipates future needs, coordinates investments across agencies, and remains in place regardless of changes in administration.

Filipinos deserve a good quality of life. It is a fundamental human right. Yet corruption in government robs them of opportunities and services. Have we become so desensitized to injustice that we no longer demand better, and simply tolerate poor leadership?

You’re seeing this government treat Bato dela Rosa and Zaldy Co very differently, on urgency and enforcement, the resources they put into it, and how much they talk about it in public. The reasons aren’t a mystery. Is the public okay with that?

The subway project, touted as the country’s “project of the century,” has been delayed by several years, with full completion now set for 2031–2032, due mainly to persistent ROW problems and inadequate and inconsistent GAA funding. Even the 2027 House budget bill have fallen short of funding needs. It appears it is not top priority in the GAA process.

The SWS September 2026 survey recorded a net satisfaction rating of +23 for VP Sara’s defense, compared with –5 for the prosecution. It’s not only the Duterte effect. The defense really outperformed the prosecution in the court.

That was poor decision making on Leni’s part, publicly brandishing the ₱500 million from BBM, only to find it wasn’t enough. It may well become her Sword of Damocles.

Cielo Magno needs a more creative, compelling campaign because, at this point, the punchline practically writes itself: “Mag-NO kay Cielo sa 2028.”

What PCO Cayetano should do is be honest and listen to the public pulse, admit the government’s failings, and commit to do better for the rest of BBM’s term. But of course, he won’t, just like his boss.

Imagine, Cayetano is now the 6th PCO secretary. This suggests a deep crack in this admin’s communications strategy, a wide gap between gov’t and the people, something that, I’m afraid, Lino will not be able to fix.

Ginawang open at transparent daw ang bicam, pero may unconstitutional provisions pa rin ang GAA 2026. Sino pa ba ang pwedeng asahan?

Sayang talaga si Dizon. He’s been weakened by the systemic corruption in the DPWH. He should have just stayed at the DOTr.

It’s too late. A late-term cabinet reshuffle (Dizon back to DOTr, Lopez to DPWH) won’t lift Marcos Jr.’s negative performance ratings. The public has already judged this admin.

This government should not give Bonoan the kid-glove treatment.

Could this regime be exploiting tensions with China to justify authoritarian measures that would extend its hold on power? I hope not.

What a sham! There’s no local warrant, only an ICC warrant. Yet the Filipino people are the ones footing the bill for the largest reward in the country’s history!

How can we trust Congress to get the 2027 budget right when the GAAs for the past three years have been defective? And then this president is just going to sign it again?
