Don't let the fact that I'm deeply unserious distract you from the fact that you're in the presence of a genius.

I remember when I used to lie to my parents just to go out. Now, I lie to my friends just to stay indoors.

You can have all the talent in the world and still waste your life because you're too afraid of being judged. You have the ideas. Skills. But you keep waiting until you're ready. And years go by. Meanwhile, there is someone with half your brain making a fortune doing things you know you could do so much better. You know why? They stopped worrying about looking stupid and just did the work. People will judge you. Laugh at you. Think you're cringe. And you can't stop them. So fuck what people think. Protect your ego or build the life you want. But you can't do both.

Intelligent people live a quiet disciplined life. They go to bed at the same time. Wake up early. Eat simple. Go for long walks. Read rare books. Say no to things without feeling guilty. The world chases excitement. Not them. They chase calm. A calm routine. A quiet mind. A healthy body. Meaningful work. A small circle. A private life. Things that align with their soul, not a "trend". From the outside their life may look boring. But from the inside, they experience a kind of freedom most people spend their entire lives searching for.

Last summer, Aston Villa lost Morgan Rogers, Ezri Konsa, Ollie Watkins, Leon Bailey, Lucas Digne, Enzo Barrenechea, and Emi Martinez. As a result of that, they had a very poor start to the season; 4-0 loss, 1-0 loss, and a 0-0 draw. ZERO goal scored in their first three games of the season. Since then, they've been UNDEFEATED in their last 8 games in all comps — 7 wins, 1 draw. Now, this is what you get from a top manager. He found a way to get the best out of his team despite losing that many quality players. He's got a Chelsea reject firing upfront (Nico Jackson), and a United reject holding things down at the back (Lindelof). Look at that Villa team and give me one reason why they're so much better than us despite us having the better players? Answer is, the manager. He is a top-level tactician and coach who demands 100% hard work from his players. My point being, Man Utd owners/board have their own share of blame, but we should be getting much better results and performances with our players, and that's on the manager.

Name an athlete whose real name is so good it sounds made up. Not a nickname, the actual name on the birth certificate. Any sport, any era.

I spent years in the wrong fight, wondering why God forsaken me. i was too proud to go where he sent me. i wanted someone elses field, someone elses crown, and i got destroyed for it. a strong fish on a mountain is a dead fish. thats a failure of obedience
