SpaceX has introduced a new website for Starfall, which enables affordable, routine access to a microgravity environment, providing unique opportunities for manufacturing, scientific research, and testing in low-Earth orbit.
Starfall specs:
• Payload capacity: 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs)
• Payload power: 1 kW
• Data interface: Ethernet
• Mission duration: Customizable to payload requirements
• Connectivity: Continuous via Starlink
SpaceX says Starfall is for:
• Biomedical Research: Developing advanced biomaterials, medical implants, stem-cell organoids, and replacement tissues.
• Pharmaceutical Discovery: Growing more uniform protein and drug crystals in microgravity to accelerate drug development.
• Materials Science: Manufacturing next-generation materials and semiconductors using the vacuum and microgravity environment of space.

This is the iconic 2024 leak of the Tesla Model Y Juniper refresh prototype. The front shot (partially tarp-covered) and rear light-bar photo went viral. Many dismissed them as fake or AI at first. Tesla reportedly identified the employee via their reflection in the rear light, and he was fired within an hour.

Starfall is the quiet new SpaceX vehicle.
A short, wide saucer that brings cargo home from orbit. Not a crew capsule. Not Starship. A crate with a heat shield.
• First flight went up on a Falcon 9 on 23 June 2026. Recovery was in the Pacific two days later.
• About 3.1 meters across and only 0.75 meters tall. Empty mass around 2.1 tonnes. Room for about one tonne of payload in a shallow bay.
• Two pieces do the work. An aluminum top plate holds the cargo and the cold-gas thrusters. A carbon-fiber heat shield takes the heat, then drops before splashdown. Parachutes finish the job.
• No deorbit engine on the capsule. The rocket, or another craft, sets the path down. Starfall just flies that path and lives through the fire.
Lift was the old problem. Getting a kilogram to orbit used to eat the budget. The new problem is getting a finished thing back.
You can grow crystals and drugs in microgravity. You can pull cleaner wafers when nothing settles. None of that pays if the only ride home is a Dragon built for people.
SpaceX said the point is cheap, routine access to that environment. Research first. Then manufacturing that actually returns a box you can open on a dock.
Starship is the truck that goes up. Starfall is the crate that comes down. An orbital factory without that crate is just a lab that never ships.
Zurich insurance offers lower insurance premiums if you use Tesla supervised self-driving
Tesla FSD just reached a pretty important milestone in Australia 🇦🇺
Zurich has become the first Australian insurer to recognize FSD Supervised as reducing driving risk....and that is now being reflected in lower insurance pricing for Tesla owners
Australian Teslas have already driven more than 132 MILLION km using FSD
And the safety data shows around 7× fewer major and minor collisions with FSD engaged
Insurance companies price risk with real money....if they’re lowering the cost, the safety data is speaking for itself
FSD is now turning better safety into lower ownership costs for Tesla drivers

Man. That was a BUSY show. Glad Chris convinced me to bring the scanner, people got a kick out of it and I gave my card to people wanting scans. Might built another unit as a product.
