The NBA has several superstars that have business relationships with Israeli cybersecurity companies, most notably Steph Curry. Also, Nike operates worldwide, this includes Israel! LeBron just said “I always hear great things about Israel”, a country accused of by dozens of human rights organizations and academic journals of escalating a human rights catastrophe that has killed tens of thousands and displaced nearly ~1 million people. Again, I ask. Outkick strongly and somewhat fairly criticized LeBron for his more than an athlete brand. Outkick has also criticized LeBron for stance on the police, social justice issues, etc. Where is it now? Why this ho hum attitude all of a sudden regarding Israel?

Matt Walsh and these other right-wing empty men who think they're avatars of über-masculinity particularly hate Alex Pretti because he exemplified the virtues they love to extol but are too cowardly to actually embody. They cosplay as trad men by dressing up in campy plaid shirts and sitting in podcast studios with a log cabin aesthetic. Alex Pretti went to the street to fight for causes he believed in, protected and helped others in both how he protested (he was helping two women when ICE grabbed him) and in his work as an ICU nurse. He lived the values they pretend defines them, all while they lack the courage to ever do or risk anything. He's a reminder to them of what they're not: a mirror showing their own fragility. That's why they feel vicariously strong watching ICE agents shoot him in the back and killed him.

There is no “duty to inform” law in Minnesota. Filming police is protected speech. Lawfully possessing a firearm is not interference or probable cause. You guys are issuing warnings based on laws you’ve imagined in your head.
Interfering with law enforcement operations while armed with a hot firearm and not applying duty to inform is playing with your life. You're welcome.

Kat Timpf a regular on Fox stating we shouldn’t bomb foreign lands its civilians and steal their resources a pretty basic and simple thought is getting her insane heat from the american right like man that sucks so bad, but it did need to be said so credit to her
Receiving some very brutal personal attacks for having the same opinion on foreign policy as I’ve had my entire career — and from many of the same people who had claimed to share this view with me as recently as a few months ago. I thought it might be bad, but it’s worse.

also notable, these are very likely people who regularly go to church and read the Bible and are somehow mad at Kat Timpf for not being so enthusiastic about wanting to bomb a predominantly Christian country. very partisan times.

counter point men should do whatever the hell they want and should not take advice from weasel podcasters who can’t bench their weight
As a general rule, grown men should not go to therapy. Most therapists are liberal women who couldn’t possibly have any useful advice to give them. Most people who go to therapy are also women. That’s because sitting around and talking about your feelings is inherently feminine. Men don’t solve their problems that way.

interested to hear @Betsycashmoney take on this. but imo this is hurting the nba product. the nba’s flagship show is *constantly* negative for todays players and in turn hurts to build stars. every week the attention on actual basketball is secondary. its all about them.
Charles Barkley: “In my day, when a coach criticized you, it was called good coaching. When people criticize players today, it's called hating. And that’s why these bums be driving me crazy.” (via @ESPNNBA)

some examples. “hey chuck, what do you think of the celtics game tonight? “ “they’re not any good, they’re all hurt it’s over” okay so why should the viewer watch the next game? wemby great game last week? “he’s 8 feet tall, I did all that before” -shaq

fwiw the us is currently deporting people and threatening university grants for anti israeli views, bombing people without charges in the carribean, no legislation to costs of living, and masked officers are throwing people in vans without due process for starters.
Has there ever been a protest effort more disconnected from reality than this? It’s amazing, they’re celebrating each other for protesting against something that doesn’t exist and never has

In 2022, @burackbobby_ wrote about Jeff Garcia questioning Mina Kimes opinion because she never played. He didn’t describe him as cringe, or belittling; he said it was just Jeff’s opinion. In 2025, he’s calling for @Realrclark25 to be fired for saying the same thing?
This is cringe. Schrager has a reputation as being one of the hardest-working reporters. Yet, Ryan Clark belittles him on set over a disagreement. The last guy to disagree with Clark he shamed for marrying a white woman. At what point does ESPN fire him?

One of the most deranged things I’ve ever read on this website. There haven’t been free elections since 2006. Half the population is under age 18. They didn’t choose anything! Equating teachers, children, doctors, etc there with a death cult erases millions of their humanity.
I've been pretty clear about this but let me state it again for you for the newbies: I do not care what happens to the Palestinian people, after this happened. They made their choice with a religious death cult and they can lay in the rubble with them or they can take up arms to remove Hamas themselves.

Yes, a lot of staff were present during. What about before? The NYT is reporting specialized role vacancies. Those roles included lack of hydrologists, radar techs, etc. And I mean, couldn’t the fed been a little more proactive in this area? Besides texts and X posts at midnight?

As opposed to Republican pundits and politicians, who wave the Israeli flag on July 4th like they are the 51st state in the union.
Not hard for them to do that when you guys are out in the streets waving Palestinian flags

UPDATE: We recently saw Representative Robert Bresnahan selling Centene stock. Centene provides healthcare exchanges for Medicaid. The stock has now fallen 43% since his sale:

Yeah bad idea dude. Displacing a million civilians and children, destroying their homes, and killing tens of thousands is totally lawful, and for sure taught them a lesson. I’m sure this will stabilize things in the Middle East for good. I stand down.
Boy this turned out to be a really bad idea huh.
