If Matt Campbell even tries to retain Grunk (who wanted to stay), the Nittany Lions probably only have 1 loss. What a disaster.
There was a lot of talk about James Franklin and QBs coming into the season. A lot of talk about how QBs had underperformed or didn't live up to expectations under his tenure at Penn State. Offense Coordinator Ty Howle and QBs Coach Danny O'Brien have worked wonders with QB Ethan Grunkemeyer and deserve tons of credit for his development and play.

Then let’s get a cap then, pussy.
Joe Kelly just dropped an anti-cap truth bomb:
Even if a salary cap meant every team could only offer Shohei Ohtani $10M, he’d still pick the Dodgers over Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, or Minnesota every single time.
Why? Because nobody’s Googling “best places to visit in America” and landing on those cities. Destination + winning culture still wins when the max money is the same for everyone.
A cap doesn’t create parity. It just makes the desirable spots even more dominant.
The Dodgers would love a salary cap.

Small market this, Pirates suck that, but watching the Rays and Guardians in the ALCS is a little infuriating. I know the Rays won 98 games but the Pirates would have swept them handily if there wasn’t a rain delay and the Pirates are obviously better than Cleveland

Kalani Sataki was the first coaching candidate who played Pat Kraft like an overpriced violin. Many on here said he wouldn’t be a cultural fit. Ten candidates later, Kraft settled for his top choice.
Campbell is struggling through his first season with a $3.5M QB who shouldn’t start for Shippensburg U. Meanwhile Sataki’ BYU Cougars just knocked off ND with a bunch of 2 & 3-star Mormons. Like undefeated PA native Bobby Chesney (UCLA) who also wanted this job. Both undefeated. Both with national title aspirations in 2026. Dudes who know how to win with less NOW. They are just great coaches who don’t play favorites. And don’t get outcoached by dudes on career life-support (Fickell/Riley/Willingham) week after week.

“You can win without spending”
Then don’t spend. Tell the Dodgers they don’t need to spend to win.

For two weeks Pat narduzzi cried and cried about Pitt not being ranked. Once again the moment Pitt gets a number next to their name they lay an egg! Pat narduzzi is the biggest meatball in CFB
What did ‘the school down the road’ do to get ranked
#Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi says ranking don’t matter but are a sign of respect

Bob Chesney really wanted the Penn State job before going to UCLA
NEW: UCLA's Bob Chesney showed his team its No. 21 ranking in a team meeting and left a message:
"If you pay attention to this number, it will go away, right? If you pay attention to what you did to get that number, and only focus on that, and improve on that, maybe the number even gets better."
