Been building a way to make exploded views of everyday objects for Anatomy. You could already make these before, but it took forever. Now it’s way easier to reproduce, and it’s turning out pretty cool.

I’m not a fan of people selling figures made with my skill. Sure, it’s free and MIT licensed, so legally, everyone can do whatever they want with it. But I released it fully free and open source for a reason: so students, teachers, and parents could have access to a tool that helps them or their kids without having to pay for it. Seeing people turn that into a way to make money off something that was meant to be freely accessible to everyone doesn’t sit right with me. Just because you can sell it doesn’t mean that’s what it was made for.

New skill spotlight: Anatomy Most ai diagrams are boxes and arrows. This one builds your idea as a physical object, a dial gauge, a lock, a cabinet of drawers with moving parts and a readout that updates while it runs. Check the example below! (skill credits:@wheresryan22)

If you want to learn how anatomy works without reading the full documentation, go check this video 👇
An LRU cache becomes a bookcase. A rocket engine comes apart on hover. Anatomy is an open-source Claude Code skill that turns technical concepts into interactive machines. We tested it.

17.5k of you starred Anatomy in under 2 weeks. thank you ❤️ Now I’m curious, which companies, schools or teams are using it for real? Drop what you made below!

Anatomy is now available on paper. You can now generate printable PDFs of any figure, making it easier to bring anatomy to life at home, in the classroom, or for homework and learning.

Any figure can now be printed. Just add “make a printable A4 PDF of it”: “/anatomy explain how a push button closes a circuit, with a cell and a bulb.” Also make a printable A4 PDF of it.”One-page poster, one-page drawing, and a 2–4 page handout that grows with the machine.

Damn that looks crazy ngl
Another standout simulation using the Anatomy skill 🙌 Here's an interactive explainer of how a film crew lights a night scene. Drag the lights and camera around the set, adjust the size of the softbox, watch the monitor update live, etc. Thanks @layonthebed8 for the idea.

Here’s a prototype of the Kids version: “How does a pump fill a tyre?” I’m experimenting with different iterations to find the simplest way to help kids understand how things work, while still keeping enough detail to make the experience engaging, interactive, and educational

Probably the most impressive output I received from this skill: A street light with adjustable pole height and light distribution. You're able to see the light move between the road, the houses and the sky. Things get interesting when the LUX map gets turned on.

I used the skill on a wind turbine. Here what you can do with this one: Change wind speed and blade pitch, look inside the nacelle, and watch it brake in a storm. Watch till the end to see inside the nacelle.

I'd love to connect with parents, teachers, and people working in EdTech who could help me shape the Kids version of Anatomy. The idea is to make learning more interactive by letting kids explore and play with 3D figures, machines, and systems to understand how things actually work, rather than just reading about them or asking AI for answers. I'm still working on the prototype, and I'd love to get feedback from people who have real experience with kids and education. What would make this genuinely useful in a classroom or at home? What would you change? What would get kids excited to learn? If you're a parent, teacher, or working in EdTech and would be interested in trying it out, sharing your experience, or helping me figure out what to build next, reach out to me in DMs! I want to build something that actually makes a difference in how kids learn, and I'd love to have your input.

ABSOLUTELY SHAMELESS. Julia contacted me to work for @yourpersona and mentioned they were looking to hire full-time. After our call, she took many days to reply. I assumed she was busy, so I let time pass. Then she came back with a project and said: “We changed it to make it easier and less time consuming. To preface, it won’t be paid (I wanted to be clear, since I mentioned that in our last call), since we just want fast work so we can speed up the hiring process. We love your work!” Two things: 1. She never mentioned it wouldn’t be paid on our last call, but I didn’t think much of it. 2.She said she wants to speed up the hiring process. I worked hard on the project. It took me 2-3 hours, on top of a 24-hour deadline for another client, because I wanted to make a good first impression. I submitted it and waited. I knew I did well, and I was confident my designs were better than anyone’s. I waited patiently for days. Then she sent this: “Hey, I have an update! The team thinks you’re a great designer and we would love to work with you, we’re just a little too early to expand right now. We’d love to stay in touch and reconnect in a month or two! I’ll hit you up then :)” Mind you, she said they wanted to hire fast. Now they’re “a little too early to expand”? And she went on to post this engagement farming post. Why is she posting this when she’s already “found” me? The team supposedly thinks I’m great and would love to work with me. I contacted a few friends here on X who have viral posts like mine. They got the exact same message from her. If you’re not ready to expand, why ask for a free trial and promise a full-time role? And why are you now shamelessly posting this to get people to do more free work and hand over more free ideas for your app?
