Friends, I don’t think we Christians fully understand how radically we must think about the goal of the Christian life. It is not to become a nice person. An atheist can be a nice person.
The goal is to become a new creation, someone living the very life of God. Jesus is the Son of God by nature, but we become sons and daughters of God by adoption, brought into a share in his life like a child welcomed into a family and their home.
That’s what it means to be a saint: to be invited into the household of God, and to worship God by eating and drinking the body and blood of Jesus, becoming assimilated unto him.

This is both dangerous and unconstitutional.

Oregon used to rank 7th in the nation for business tax competitiveness. Now we're 35th.
Oregon is now 49th in the nation for job growth.
That's almost DEAD LAST.
What changed?
The 2019 Corporate Activity Tax + heavy regulations piled on year after year.
Kotek hand-picked her own Prosperity Council of 15 business & labor leaders, including:
- Tillamook
- Columbia Sportswear
- The Port of Portland
- SEIU
They held 66 listening sessions in more than 25 communities & reviewed over 1,000 survey responses.
They recommended:
✅Raise the Corporate Activity Tax threshold
✅Lift the estate tax exemption
✅Cut regulations 20% by 2029.
🤯She IGNORED THEM & hasn't enacted those relief steps. Then she tried to tax Oregonians even more with transportation hikes & gas taxes.
Oregonians rejected these.
The fiscal incompetence is staggering.
Without a change in leadership, more taxes and regulations are coming, and more businesses will keep leaving or choose to expand OUTSIDE Oregon.
Time for change & common sense.
