We need to see more tournaments and events for Call of Duty, Warzone, Tekken, Fortnite, Counter-Strike, and EA FC (FIFA). For Call of Duty specifically, we need more #CDL LAN events and more online #Warzone tournaments. There is a massive amount of talent and potential within these communities, and consistent competitive opportunities would go a long way in growing the scene. I'd also love to see more ladies' Call of Duty tournaments and events. South Africa has an active and passionate ladies' Call of Duty community that deserves more recognition, support, and opportunities. These ladies are willing to put in the work and do what it takes to grow the competitive scene. They just need the platforms and opportunities to showcase their talent. HighBorn has also recently stepped into both the #Tekken and #CounterStrike communities, and one thing we've quickly realised is just how passionate, dedicated, and supportive these communities are. Both titles have incredible potential, and I strongly believe that with more local tournaments, respectable prize pools, and consistent opportunities, the organisers will see the turnout, engagement, and hype they're looking for. The communities are there. They just need more opportunities to compete. I also strongly believe that more LAN events should be hosted in Johannesburg, where a significant portion of South Africa's competitive gaming community is based. Johannesburg generally offers more affordable options for accommodation, food, and other expenses compared to Cape Town, making these events more accessible to players, teams, and organisations. Hosting #CallofDuty CDL, #Fortnite, #EAFC, #Tekken, and #CS2 LANs in Johannesburg could lead to better participation, larger audiences, reduced costs, and ultimately a more positive outcome for the South African esports scene. This isn't about taking events away from Cape Town, but rather expanding opportunities, supporting underrepresented communities, making competitive gaming more accessible, and growing esports across South Africa. There is so much untapped potential in our local esports scene. The players are here, the passion is here, and the communities are ready. We just need to give them more opportunities, proper support, and worthwhile prize pools to truly thrive. @GandTea11 @Esports_WatchZA @Cloudzehh @SherWeezy_92 @CarterMgebisa @IAmTheY2K_ @_Ridwaaannnn @_Seventy7_7 @Luca_Rakic @FearLeah @Beastza_07
