If physicians can't own a hospital, hospitals shouldn't own physicians!!
The shift from hospitals to independent medical facilities can’t happen fast enough. $1300 difference for one occurrence of one procedure that’s an ongoing procedure that will likely happen ~100 times to this one patient.
From the patients perspective the switch in setting would be getting the same drug in a better location.

Check the baseline first. The doctors in that study weren't allowed colleagues, references or search, which nobody practices without. And the 72% is test-ordering spend per case, so one missed diagnosis claim can erase a lot of it, can't it?
