"I love telling AI bros how stupid they are! I do not acknowledge these people as worthy of respect!"
Now replace "ai bros" with "twitter artists"
And suddenly this becomes a problem.
We mourn the passing of Patrick Stewart, who inspired countless individuals at NASA (and beyond) to boldly go where no one has gone before.

We eventually do become frustrated with people trying to shout down something they have no remote understanding of.

What do you mean you don't want to pay 50 grand, an arm and a leg and the soul of your firstborn for a silly little doodle

The loudest critics of AI are furry artists who got nuked out of work because ChatGPT and Midjourney did their $15 drawings better than them
"Slop" is work that is low effort and low intent. I'm pro-AI, and anti-slop.
By low intent I mean the ratio of creative decisions being made by you vs by the AI. If the scale tips too far towards the AI, it's not your vision anymore.
But there is so much nuance to using these tools in 2026. You can get very involved, give detailed notes and feedback, make minor changes, and iterate just like you would giving feedback to a human collaborator.
This makes you a director, and an artist.

If that was true, then every gender clinic on the planet would use MRIs to diagnose the condition. They do not because it is not true

I could watch this all day.
More please...😁
Much more!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video is an AI-generated montage of fictional clips, not real footage of Minnesota events.

Happy Birthday Dad xxxxx
Today is my Dad’s 90th birthday, and I have a few words I’d like to say on this special occasion.
There is no man in the world I admire more than my Dad, and I have met many remarkable people. He’s the only man I’ve always wanted to be just like, but never will be. He’s my role model, my hero, a shining example of what it means to be a truly good man, and the best father anyone could wish for.
I think many of us want to see our Dad as a kind of knight in shining armour. Mine is. One evening many years ago I called him from somewhere far away. He dropped everything and flew half way round the world to help me. No questions asked, didn’t even finish his dinner. He turned up the very next day in some dubious corner of the world, unshaven, almost dead on his feet, because that’s what a Dad does.
He is the only man whose praise made my efforts worthwhile, whether it be building a sand castle when I was four, or walking on stage at Wembley when I was sixty four. To see pride in his eyes meant the world to me. Still does. Always will.
I love my Dad more than words can say, always have. He is everything a good man should be and I am proud to be his son. More than proud, I am honoured to be his son.
Happy 90th Dad. Xxxxxxxxx

Jimmy McTits crowdfunder update. Look like he'll have to remain his breastless non-self for a bit longer. Poor girl.

When historians of the future look back to see what we did when we got our hands on a digital super intelligence, I am so glad they're gonna find these fuggin cat videos! 🤣

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

The Israelis who live closest to Gaza USED to be the most liberal peaceniks in the whole country. Now that they see what Hamas is, they are the most reactionary voters in Israel
