The two most important traits of a startup team:
1. Solutions-oriented
2. Creative
Straight-line solution don't cut it over the long haul.
Thinking creatively in a vacuum doesn't either.
You need folks who can find "back door" answers over and over again.
The loudest, most arrogant voices are from those not on the playing field.
Which makes total sense…
There’s no time to be loud when you’re actually playing, and meaningful games are humbling.
Everyone agrees "long term thinking" is better. But how long is long? Given the rate of change today, one year is a really long time. 10 years is an eternity. Didn't use to be that way...but now it is.
It's a useful exercise to re-define "long" for yourself on an annual basis.
1. Take calculated risk
2. Mitigate risk
3. Repeat
Skip 1 or 3 and you’ll plateau
Skip 2 and you’ll implode
This is cool @JaiDolwani
Can’t say I’ve ever received anything like this in the mail.
Creativity wins.
Tried banana water...surprisingly good.
Kind of makes you wonder why we don't "water" other stuff.
I mean...we've milked every form of oat, nut, and seed.
Why not just start watering everything?!
Cracked $500K yesterday on Amazon - only the second time that's ever happened.

Pacing is a wildly underrated human activity.
(Walking, its -more-attractive sibling, gets the fanfare)
At a minimum, you should be pacing on 100% of your phone calls.
Exercise, straightening your posture, increasing blood flow, improving mood - it's all upside.
Does it make you look unhinged? Yes.
But there's NOTHING inspiring about a hinged person on a couch.

Note: all pacing is not created equal. Pacing outdoors is vast superior to pacing in your kitchen, for instance. Peak pacing occurs in the woods.
The functional side of business burns you out. The artistic side refuels you.
Without the former, you can't survive. Without the latter, you can't last (nor can you have much fun).
You'll inevitably lose the art at various points along the way.
It's imperative you find your way back to it.
In between getting repeatedly kicked in the teeth, we get notes that refill the rocket fuel tank. Need those.
