It's going to be messy whenever it happens. Rip the band aid off now. Create the framework, give all four-year seniors an extra year, and let the five-year seniors sue for eligibility. A year from now, it'll be much cleaner.
The DI Cabinet did review the five-year, age-based eligibility concept during its meeting yesterday and work on the concept will continue, sources tell @YahooSports.
While hurdles remain - especially as to implementation - there is serious consideration in adoption of the concept
The transfer portal is a compliance tool. Roster continuity issues exist because of no one-time transfer rule and NIL/rev share money, not because of a piece of software.
The transfer portal is a MASSIVE problem…
There is a stunning lack of roster continuity in college sports nowadays.
Michigan won the National Championship with an entire starting 5 of transfers.
On Senior night in the SEC, there was one senior who stayed at their original college all four or five years.
About 2% (25 total) of all college basketball athletes stayed at their schools 4-5 years.
This is an outrageous number, and showcases exactly why college sports need serious overhaul in order to protect the games we love.

It has a confederation president. He's a guy

Lies and the lying liars who tell them. Holt is ludicrously incorrect. Alabama is required to pay for Bediako to complete his degree if he meets all NCAA requirements.
Replying to @mikerodak
Bediako's attorney David Holt said if Bediako loses the injunction, he "may never have the opportunity to compete again" and would also lose the chance to complete his degree because the cost of remaining in school without a scholarship would be "prohibitive."
Pruet asked why Bediako couldn't return to the G-League, and Holt said that would be possible but not a certainty.

Another world exclusive happened today in our famous Four Seasons Total Landscaping lot!!!
We gathered together all the people who have gone to see the Melania movie. Here’s a photo to prove it.
Vanderbilt held back by preseason expectations ingrained into the AP Poll instead of performance through 16 games. Great job, media. @VandyMBB
