Vastly more significant than the Stevens thing. The entire Rogers electability argument was built around that idea that he could win these voters
lol “Black voters, who offered tepid support to Dr. El-Sayed in September, now back him, 93-4. Mr. Rogers did not receive the support of any respondent in the city of Detroit (among 43 people).”

I'll add to this that the chances of Stevens' defection determining the outcome of this race is extremely, extremely remote
AES will probably win, and then the Left will be able to say that not only can they win anywhere, they can do so with a bruised and battered candidate
Mark Halperin and I will be cohosting an election night livestream tomorrow. It will be reverent. It will be on beat. Everyone will be 100% sober. And it will all be broadcast from Nickelodeon's original orange Snick couch.

Dems can blame Haley Stevens all they want, but they should acknowledge a more competent version of AES and his campaign wouldn't have let this happen
This Michigan race should be a slam-dunk for Dems. If they lose, the bulk of the blame must go to AES and his enablers

This is still the most perfect thing. Karen Bass wanted to be like Zohran Mamdani, the pothole fixer. So she posted a video of herself going to a pothole and finding a parked car that prevented it from being fixed. So she put out a No Parking sign and went to get a hamburger.
Simone Boyce we got you!

Get in, boys. We're Nixonmaxxing.
Why is Gen Z suddenly obsessed with our 37th president—the man who resigned in disgrace over Watergate? Mostly, it's a vibe. @WillRahn breaks down the Nixon fascination that's become this summer's biggest trend.

Just get a Casio. I wear one. Mamdani wears one. They keep perfect time and cost like 40 bucks
Kevin O’Leary says he begged Rolex for a mythical $1.8 million watch, then cried when the box opened
“It is the grail piece of all watches. It is the white gold, ruby and diamond Daytona. Grown men weep just looking at pictures of this mystical beast”
“I got on my knees and begged for it. The morning before the Oscars, the phone rings. They gave me an address and said, ‘Be there’”
“The entire Rolex staff had never seen it. For an hour, we looked at it. We didn’t touch it. I was weeping. Walking around with $35 million”
This is Dr. Strangelove logic—"they'll nuke it, we have to do it first"—in an attempt to pass legislation that would probably still fail without the filibuster. Do you think Curtis, Collins, Murkowski, and McConnell are going to vote for SAVE?
Replying to @willrahn
It’s abject madness to think this generation of Democrats won’t nuke the filibuster the first chance they get. I think anyone willing to take that chance is a fool.
