Such good work! Very excited for this!
So excited to be launching GPT-6 today with Intelligent UI to everyone in ChatGPT! The model can now create custom visual and interactive responses on the fly, as quickly as it generates text. 🎨 ChatGPT launched in 2022 as a text-only low-key research preview. While the product has evolved a lot since then, responses have largely remained text-based. With Intelligent UI, we wanted to rethink the interface from the ground up and give our models more ways to communicate visually. Getting to shape the research direction behind that vision has been especially rewarding. We built a library of native, streamable components and a compiler that renders interfaces progressively as the model generates them. This combines a familiar design foundation with the flexibility to compose each response dynamically. We trained GPT-6 to use this library to create clear, useful interfaces and make thoughtful design decisions—including when interactivity helps and when simple text is enough. Making this work meant thinking about model behavior, product design, and engineering scaling requirements together. It’s been awesome working through these challenges with folks across research, engineering, design, and product over the last few months. I’m a visual learner, so this is a game changer for me. Some of my favorite uses so far have been planning trips, practicing my Italian, learning new concepts, and shopping. Give it a try and let us know what you think! Rolling out starting today to Plus, and expanding tomorrow to Free and Go. Learn more at: openai.com/index/gpt-6-for-e…

Starting today, Finances in ChatGPT is available in the US across Free, Go, Plus, and Pro. You no longer need a paid subscription to use it! This one means a lot to me. When I started @hellodigit back in 2012, it was a free financial chatbot that automatically saved money for you. The goal was to help as many people as possible. As Digit grew, we needed to charge to make the business sustainable. We went on to help people save over $9 billion. I'm proud of that. But charging also put the product out of reach for people we wanted to help. Making Finances in ChatGPT available for free feels like another chance to deliver on what I wanted to do from the beginning. Getting high quality financial assistance has historically been a privilege reserved for the wealthy. But getting financial help that takes your own situation into account shouldn't depend on being able to pay for it! Now you can connect your financial accounts to ChatGPT and get help grounded in your own numbers, without a paid subscription. This allows anyone in the US to get help thinking through big and small decisions with your own numbers in front of you: - What are you paying in fees and interest, and where could you save? - What would taking on college debt mean for your future? - How can you afford that first house and/or what would you have to give up to buy it? - Would a career change work financially for you and your family? There's still so much shit work that comes with modern banking, finance, and credit. We have a lot more to build to help people get back the time, money, and energy it takes from them. Removing the subscription barrier is a big step toward reaching more of the people who want help. And for our international friends, we haven't forgotten about you. We are working to open up access in more markets. Stay tuned! Lastly thank you to everyone who's tried Finances, shared feedback, and pushed us to make it better. Keep it coming. Onward!
Finances in ChatGPT is rolling out to Free and Go users in the U.S. Securely connect your accounts with @Plaid and @Experian to make sense of your money and credit, with answers based on your own financial information.

FWIW Chat never asks for your SSN. In this setup you’re directed to Experian. And even then most connects can happen with just a mobile number. In the event last 4 is requested that still is only in Experian system.

We've gotten a lot of great questions on privacy implications of Computer History. Here's a few things we've done to build a super powerful feature while keeping things private. First off, you can review all of your Computer History in the timeline view:
Today we're releasing Computer History in ChatGPT. It lets ChatGPT learn from everything you do on your computer, so it can better understand how you work, finish tasks that you're in the middle of, and suggest skills and automations based on how you use your computer.

We launched lockdown mode to all @ChatGPTapp users. For more security conscious users, this gives an extra layer of protection by reducing the risk of data exfiltration from prompt injection attacks. help.openai.com/en/articles/…

Build long-running agents with more control over agent execution. New capabilities in the Agents SDK: • Run agents in controlled sandboxes • Inspect and customize the open-source harness • Control when memories are created and where they’re stored

So excited to share that we're bringing Computer Use to Codex. Computer Use lets Codex see, click, and type into your Mac apps, with its own cursor. It's a magical feeling to have agents using your apps in the background, and still get to use your computer at the same time.

🚀 health sync is out Analyze your health data locally across providers. It syncs data from Oura, Withings, Hevy, Strava, and Eight Sleep (more coming) into a local database you fully control. I run it on a cron and use @openclaw to generate daily summaries of my activity and sleep. github.com/filipe-m-almeida/…

GPT-5 rollout updates: *We are going to double GPT-5 rate limits for ChatGPT Plus users as we finish rollout. *We will let Plus users choose to continue to use 4o. We will watch usage as we think about how long to offer legacy models for. *GPT-5 will seem smarter starting today. Yesterday, the autoswitcher broke and was out of commission for a chunk of the day, and the result was GPT-5 seemed way dumber. Also, we are making some interventions to how the decision boundary works that should help you get the right model more often. *We will make it more transparent about which model is answering a given query. *We will change the UI to make it easier to manually trigger thinking. *Rolling out to everyone is taking a bit longer. It’s a massive change at big scale. For example, our API traffic has about doubled over the past 24 hours… We will continue to work to get things stable and will keep listening to feedback. As we mentioned, we expected some bumpiness as we roll out so many things at once. But it was a little more bumpy than we hoped for!
