Google's Code Formatter for Java is now 10x faster thanks to @GraalVM Native Image! ๐ฅณ
And it's already directly usable in #vscode #code @code thanks to github.com/JoseVSeb/google-jโฆ! "Formatting completed in 45ms." instead of 473ms! That x10 is actually noticeable on Ctrl-S Save a *.java, even on a fast computer - cool!

In his talk "How fast really is Ruby 3.x?" at @RubyKaigi 2022, Fujimoto Seiji asks whether CRuby 3.1 is 3 times faster than 3.0 or even 2.0.
The answer on the LTSV benchmark is no for CRuby, but it is yes for @TruffleRuby which is 3.6x (CE) and 5.7x (EE) faster than CRuby 3.1!

Starting with @GraalVM 22.2, core artifacts will be around 240MB in size (rather than 400MB+ on some platforms). Graal.js, LLVM, and VisualVM are no longer included by default but can be easily installed with gu.

Been doing some JavaScript development for my Minecraft server, using a JS engine (Graalvm) within Java. It allows me to use existing JS repos and decided to use Redux Toolkit. This showcases a custom mechanic dispatching actions and you are able to see it in Redux DevTools.
