Several #utilities are preparing to challenge 🚫 the developer of the proposed #BECItransmissionline’s application to become a #Wisconsin utility.
@MGS_Projects will need to be approved as a public utility by @PSCWisconsin before it can apply for a permit to build 🏗 a proposed extra-high voltage, 190-mile #transmissionline across western and southern Wisconsin.
In recent weeks, concerned 🤔 landowners, local governments and a school district have sought to intervene in MGS’s application for utility status amid a broader backlash against the proposal for the towering #765kV power line.

.@WisGOP gubernatorial candidate @TomTiffanyWI is out with a new digital 📺 ad that knocks @WisDems rival @DavidCCrowley for being “bankrolled by billionaires 💰 and Epstein’s buddies.”
Crowley and Dems have slammed Tiffany in a series of ads for voting initially to block the release of the #Epstein 📑 files. The new digital spot hits Crowley over @reidhoffman donations to the state Dem Party, which transferred $9.75 million to Crowley in the pre-election period.

The final @MULawPoll out Wednesday will not have any reaction following last week's 🗣 gubernatorial debate.
💡 Poll director @PollsAndVotes says the poll wrapped up questioning just before the debate took place Wednesday.
"Some of the things are obviously not only vote choice but favorability," Franklin said on @WISN12News' #UPFRONT, which is produced in partnership with @WisPolitics @StateAffairsUS. "Whether you agree or disagree with the candidates' issue positions, but also ticking off some specific issues about who would do a better job of handling 🎓 #schoolfunding, handling #taxes, handling #datacenters, so some more specific things that 📮 #voters are judging the candidates by."
Both Democratic strategist @jz_OFAWI and Republican @BillMcCoshen11 agree there wasn't a specific moment in last week's debate that could hang over either @DavidCCrowley or @TomTiffanyWI's campaign in the final full week on the campaign trail.
