I’m prefacing all of this by saying that I voted for them based on their alignment with my ideologies and political beliefs while bearing my own material conditions in mind (considering that this is a local government election). It is also important to differentiate between policy and achievement, and to also not pretend that the EFF is without controversy. Having said that, I separated my feelings and reservations about the CIC from the party’s manifesto, underlying Marxist-Leninism and its achievement. Sources will also be linked below.
