🚨FALLEN HERO🚨
On Sunday, October 6th, 2024, Park Ranger Kevin Grossheim with the @NatlParkService received a distress call on a lake.
Upon arrival and was able to rescue a family of three and place him in his patrol boat.
Amid rough waters and high winds, his boat overturned. The family was able to make it to land safely. However, Ranger Grossheim went missing.
After a three-hour search, his body was recovered.
Ranger Grossheim had more than 31 years of experience in the National Park Service and had been assigned to Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota for almost 20 years.
Rest in peace, hero.

The murder of @LASDHQ Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, who was ambushed as he sat in his patrol car, is an awful tragedy that underscores the dangers faced by cops across the nation.
