All the cope takes I’m reading about AI capabilities on the right are going to be embarrassing in 1-2 years. I only ask that skeptics don’t continue to lecture us about how to deal with AI because if you can’t see where we are headed then you’re discredited imho
Outline a reasonable approach to AI regulation yourself if you want to. Based on your comments it seems like you think the right answer is nothing, which is retarded. Anyway all these copes will die very soon as AI capabilities continue to advance

When people release a harmful product we charge them with crimes for the harms they’ve committed.
Letting a new atheist offshoot doomsday cult determine global policy is the worst of the ideas being tabled.
Who are you going to charge when open source AI is used to create agentic worm viruses? If someone releases a synthetic virus charging them won’t matter. What’s your plan to control an RSI intelligence explosion? If someone uses Anthropic or OpenAI’s products in a way they tried to stop will you crash the US economy by shutting them down?
how about we try to learn from the mistakes of nuclear and not immediately turn over all control to the doomers over claims being made by such doomers with the express goal of capturing said technology (wow what an amazing incentive structure we’ve created)
60 years later and we are just now starting to claw it back….no, we aren’t playing this game again
