I had to buy one of the new Krovatar KB-100BH mini Blu-ray players. It's VERY fast, all-region, great bluetooth support, upscales SD well. Wish the remote had audio/sub buttons but that's really my only gripe. I'll take it over my old Sony any day.

Yes, Sony has stopped making Blu-ray players, but also the underlying patents have mostly expired, bringing a flood of cheaper Chinese players. Who knows, maybe one of them will innovate. A portable player with built-in streaming to iPads? That’s the future I want to see.
