i have a lot of empathy for fic writers who want to feel acknowledged for their hard work, but people used to xerox printouts of other people's star trek and anime fics and distribute them at fancons.

i understand feeling weirded out by being included people's freely distributed google drive collections, though. the scale and impersonality is on another level.

people on god's internet are being so cavalier about their personal info and it's freaking me the hell out

quick psa from the last big ao3 shutdown: if you plan on sharing a google doc or google folder of your fics, be aware that viewers can see your name and email. don’t doxx yourself, friends 🫶

this dude had two solid color yarns, the basics of intarsia, a burning hatred in his heart, and a dream

It’s the knitting. The dedication. The hate. I love it. It’s so beautiful.

just my two cents but 2-4 weeks out for ao3 sounds like some hardware order timeline to me.

i can't convey how this book is such quintessential kitnip!!! thoroughly meta and tongue in cheek while still maintaining the pace and integrity of a puzzle mystery. i feel like binging the entire series now.

the decagon house murders already has one my favorite mystery tropes, maps and floor plans

a 75% success rate on most things in life is something to be celebrated. you'd almost assuredly be considered a savant. goaltending is not one of those things

i need something less brutal than this leafs game so i'll get back to this novel about a group of people getting murdered on an island.

Matthew Schaefer became the first player in NHL HISTORY to play an entire five-minute overtime without leaving the ice, per @FriedgeHNIC 🤯 The 19-year-old finished with 32:16 of ice time and an assist in New York's shootout win over Nashville 😳
