“But it’s perspective that’s required to shift.” - yes, strangely this is a universally true maxim for which few people hold as a core belief.

Electrek explains why Lidar is the answer using an AI-generated image that inaccurately visualizes what Lidar vs. Cameras would see, meanwhile FSD avoids small animals every day, worldwide. Unfortunutely, Lidar wouldn't have saved us from wasting our time reading your article.

I watched Liv’s fighter jet video last week for the first time since she passed. I smiled, and then I cried. She was so excited. Jared was worried about her and wanted to take it easy. She told him she wanted all the flips, the turns, the Gs. He smiled and said, how about a parabola, and we take Asteroid back to zero G. Her eyes lit up. She wanted to go to space. He made sure she got as close as she could. @rookisaacman

You are human beings, I'm a human being; you want a happy life, and I want a happy life. But I think that aim will not be fulfilled only on the basis of material values; what we all want is affection and what we all need is to be more warm-hearted.

Appreciate the heads up! Turns out some of our Starbase footage was licensed years ago by our agent under a working title. I had no involvement in that deal and no knowledge it was being used this way until today. I’m proud of those moments at Starbase. Those conversations and tours captured some of the best of Elon, his work, and the SpaceX team. Seeing that footage used to spin a negative narrative is frustrating and disappointing. We license footage to documentaries and news outlets and don’t get veto power over their editorial spin. I don’t like seeing it used this way, and I would not have agreed to it if I’d known the project or its intent.

What is important is not so much how long you live as whether you live a meaningful life. This doesn’t mean accumulating money and fame, but being of service to your fellow human beings. It means helping others if you can, but even if you can’t do that, at least not harming them.

PANS/PANDAS mechanism just published: (They studied strep but it's not limited to strep, I've seen many cases from bartonella) Strep → IL-17A → microglia → leaky blood-brain barrier → sudden personality changes, OCD, tics, & many more. For 20 years parents were told it was psychosocial. It was inflammation due to an infection. It always was.

I just got a self-driving Tesla and it is every bit as awesome as you Tesla owners said it would be. I'll also add that apart from the mind-blowing self-driving feature, it's the best handling car I've ever driven, even when not in self-driving mode. Kudos to @elonmusk

Real-world intelligence FTW
This was a pretty intelligent move by FSD. It starts to pull out of the parking spot, sees a ute turn the corner so decides to reverse back into the parking spot to let it pass. Smort.

I must be among an extremely small group of people (n=1?) that have both 1) trained a frontier LLM and 2) designed and synthesized custom viruses in a lab with my own two hands. And I think that the takes on AI killing us all by creating dangerous viruses is total bogus.
