Tonight, I make a solemn promise to every single Texan. Whether you voted for me or Governor Abbott, or felt so betrayed by a broken politics that you did not vote at all.
Hear what Texas said today, loud and clear: Your government belongs to you. And as your governor, I will never forget it. There will be no special set of rules for the wealthy and powerful. No looking the other way when someone in my own party does wrong.
The trust you have placed in me tonight is not a blank check. It is a sacred responsibility. And I intend to earn it every single day.

November is National Family Engagement Month! A child’s growth is a team effort, and families play an important role in helping our students reach their goals.
From knowing their personal growth goals to checking grades, reading together and practicing new skills, small moments at home can make a world of difference.
Getting involved at school through PTA, volunteering and showing up for campus events also helps students see how much you value their education!
We love our RISD families and are so thankful for our community 💚 ❤️ 💙 💜

I’m thinking about sending my opponent a thank-you note.
This week, several voters told me they recognized me from his attack mailers. Then they told me they were voting for me.
So, thanks for helping get my name out there!

Wow this new James Talarico ad about Ken Paxton is scathing. Share this everywhere. People in Texas need to see it.

It’s hard to imagine many people having a bigger impact than Dolly Parton. Born in a one-room cabin, she earned 11 Grammys and an Emmy, built a business empire, helped millions of kids learn to read, and — as if that wasn’t enough — helped accelerate the research that led to the Moderna COVID vaccine. What a life. Michelle and I are thinking of Dolly’s family and her many, many fans.
Breaking News: Dolly Parton, the country singer, songwriter, entertainer and entrepreneur known for her outsize persona and prodigious vision and talent that placed her in a class by herself, has died at 80. nyti.ms/45Prr77
