Baz Luhrmann’s turbulent, tonally jarring masterpiece ROMEO + JULIET, which may be the most divisive Shakespeare adaptation still, turns 30.

It is such a gift that she shares parts of this life with us through her films. For two hours, we too get to live a little wilder, a little more genuine, and unavoidably closer to our human life. #Venezia83

This movie is unreal
LAIKA MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE AN OSCAR WINNER ON ITS HANDS. 😭🔥
The stop motion animation, the world building the sheer amount of work behind every frame… this is exactly why LAIKA deserves more recognition. 🥹🎬
If WILDWOOD wins that Oscar, it’ll be a massive moment for stop-motion animation. 👀

This perfect movie about theatre 💘🎭
THE DEBUT genuinely is one of the greatest movies. Brilliant script and direction; the performances are out of this world — Moore and Paul Giamatti both give a masterclass in acting. We laughed, we cheered, we clapped, and I just had the best time tonight. What a way to end #LFF! Long live movies and community theatre 🎭💘
Paweł Pawlikowski’s ‘FATHERLAND,’ starring Sandra Hüller and Hanns Zischler is now playing in theatres 🎞️

Jane Shoenbrun's TEENAGE SEX AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA is the sexiest, horniest and bloodiest film you'll get to watch this year. If you're not in the mood to watch anything too scary for Halloween, it is the perfect option. Grab your Sweet Tarts mini chewy, your KFC bucket (and your dipping sauces, obviously), and press play on the coolest film of 2026 💘
Uncanny melodies, eerie fog, and a deliciously shocking plot twist […] This horror classic whispers suspense to its audience, slowly tightening its grip on your nerves until the shocking, unexpected final reveal. Blending psychological horror with a haunted-house story, THE OTHERS is the perfect spooky-season treat 👻
If you’re looking for something frighteningly funny this Halloween, look no further than the bisexual cult classic JENNIFER’S BODY. Starring Amanda Seyfried and Megan Fox, the film follows a high-school mean girl who gets possessed by a demon after a night out goes horribly wrong […] With so many iconic scenes and endlessly quotable dialogue, this movie is a must-watch for any horror-comedy fan.

With CLUB KID, Firstman skillfully balances laugh-out-loud moments with scenes of extreme vulnerability. Audiences who are new to the queer vocabulary and memes running through the movie will still understand the hilarity of newfound fatherhood 🪩
