RootData has launched a series ranking highlighting representative projects across various crypto sectors based on transparency. As for crypto market maker, we ranked nearly 40 active companies.
@galaxyhq , @wintermute_t , @GSR_io , @DWFLabs , Jane Street, and @ambergroup_io achieved transparency scores above 70%, placing them in the top tier of the sector. Meanwhile, 19 market makers scored below 60%. Most of these lower-ranked projects have limited or no disclosure on key information such as team, funding history, or tokens they market make for, which indicating significant room for improvement.
RootData’s Transparency Score is calculated based on multiple factors, including investor background, team, roadmap delivery progress, and news. The higher the score, the stronger the project’s credibility, operational strength, and overall stability.

A few months ago, we created HRC because we felt a clear need to reduce information asymmetry and lower entry barriers for new participants through independent research. We hope this report helps do exactly that.
