To this day, this is one of the personal projects I'm still very proud of.
Here's Mariachi Symmetra, a skin I did inspired in El Día de los Muertos. I hope you like it! 💀🕯️ @sweeetanj @PlayOverwatch

Yep! It’s precisely the old art that I made throughout the years that got me to where I am.
I’m forever grateful to the people who were (and still are) part of that journey.
It's normal to improve and be proud of it, but as an artist I don't think you should ever belittle your old art, especially on socials.
You were once proud of that art, and a less experienced artist might see you belittle it and feel ashamed of their own.
This old art is what got you there, got you opportunities, it might even be a past commission (or art of the level) that someone paid for and they could feel bad about it. Even if you think your old art is terrible, really there's no need to say it publicly! If you want to show your progress you can do before/afters in a positive way but saying it's ugly.. etc, is just not it imo
Good advice. It might be a pain managing multiple accounts, but it’s worth a shot specially if you’re freelancer. You never know who might see your work.
