CodeAlta 3.0 is out, a major release! 🎉 (RT appreciated 🙏)
- Workflows & Code Mode: your agent writes a small script that plans, runs sub-agents in parallel and comes back with a nice markdown with pictures 🧩
- Watch the graph run live, save it as a workflow 🔁

@xoofx 's Code Alta 3 release is really neat!
I went back in to give a shot DeepSeek and GLM given that codealta is really lean on instructions and it's working quite well.
You should really this harness a try

Benchmarking different Adaptive mode approaches for CodeAlta with the goal of being as efficient while saving more money by better utilizing your available models and reasoning efforts. But not sure a sweet pot is possible dynamically without some PGO. 🤖
Coming next to CodeAlta as I want to embark some of my researcher friends to it 😅 Support for Latex/Maths/Chemistry/Footnotes and equation rendering, preview and visual editor! 🧑🔬✖️📐

Huge news! For 3 years @SohanDsouza & I have investigated a covert paid ad campaign pushing anti-Muslim, anti-migrant & anti-Qatar hate speech across Europe, Lebanon & the US.

AI now finds bugs that survived decades of human review, and writes code that looks right but isn’t. Tests can’t keep up.

Yeah, support for @MistralAI Le Chonk + their new Responses API with your Mistral Vibe account is in CodeAlta 3.1.0! 😻
Also, in this release, CodeMode can present more things from a script and Graphs in Canvases with React Flow!

And thanks again for the feedback and contributors. Keep it up! 🤗
CodeMode support in CodeAlta is a game changer in terms of harness efficiency. Look at the kind of scripts that it can generate in one go to automate e.g. launching sessions, testing and measuring them... It was requiring a huge amount of separate tools to do this before 🤯
Another story behind CodeMode support: CodeAlta is using the amazing JavaScript engine Jint from @sebastienros and @markolahma
Naturally sandboxed and multi threaded, super efficient execution for these workflow scripts!

Code Mode also makes the CodeAlta harness leaner 🏎️
On 51 hard tasks of SWE-bench Pro:
- Claude Opus 5.5: same score as Claude Code (50/51), 12% cheaper
- GPT-6 Astra: one more task than Codex (47 vs 46)
Testing is costly, but we did as much as we could! 📊

For the behind story of the optimization of the harness, it costed me $1000 💸 to run a fraction of the SWE-bench Pro Hard (51 tasks) so I won't do that every month 😅 but it was worth to do. CodeAlta has now a better harness! 🚀
- New Codex CLI provider (like we do with Claude Code CLI), so ChatGPT Business subscriptions work with CodeAlta 🤖
- Plugin hooks on every tool call 🪝
- Sessions resume by themselves when your limit resets ⏰
- Attach files and answer your agents from your phone 📱

I added labels in CodeAlta 2.2 today to have nicer projects grouping, but they were not pretty. Improving this for 2.3, much nicer!
With all my projects in CodeAlta now nicely organized! Look at this beauty! 🤩
This is going to land in 2.2.1 in the coming hour! 🚀
