Low port & unprofitable guys;
Stop aping "genny narras", current meta and bullshit. Wait for something unique.
STOP OVERTRADING
Journal #23
Zeroed out again.
Trading with a low port is something I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.
Not being able to hold coins for longer because you're afraid of losing the profit, so you just take the scalp instead.
Exiting way too quickly for a loss because you're scared of it going lower, only for it to end up going back to your entry and then even higher.
Struggling so hard mentally, knowing there is such an abundant market with opportunities everywhere, yet still not being able to perform the way I know I can.
The worst part is, I know I have the skill to trade profitably and execute high quality trades. It's not that I don't have the ability to do it. It's the mental side of trading that I'm struggling with right now, and it's holding me back from performing at the level I know I'm capable of.
On top of that, trying to improve yourself outside of trading and in the real world, knowing that doing the wrong things will impact your trading as well.
It sucks so much, to be honest. I'm mentally broken right now. Putting in so much work, only to find myself in this position after a couple of months hurts alot.
I've been watching videos from the start of the year talking about how much further I should have progressed by now, how I should be profitable, seeing the results of all the work I've put in, changing my life, and yet I haven't gotten there.
Although one thing is certain.
I WILL NOT QUIT, I WILL NOT ALLOW ALL THIS PROGRESS TO BE FOR NOTHING. I WILL KEEP GOING UNTIL I ACCOMPLISH BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. I KNOW MY TIME IS COMING SOON INSHALLAH.
Alhamdulillah for the lessons I've learned and for being able to experience these difficult times. I can't wait to look back at this in the future and be proud of myself for never giving up despite how hard times got.

There's a physicist at Stanford named Safi Bahcall who modeled this exact principle and the math is wild.
He calls it "phase transitions in human networks." When you're stationary, your probability of a lucky event is limited to your existing surface area: the people you already know, the places you already go, the ideas you've already been exposed to. Your opportunity window is fixed.
When you move, your collision rate with new nodes in a network increases nonlinearly. Double your movement (new conversations, new cities, new projects) and your probability of a serendipitous encounter doesn't double. It roughly quadruples. Because each new node connects you to their entire network, not just to them.
Richard Wiseman ran a 10-year study at the University of Hertfordshire tracking self-described "lucky" and "unlucky" people. The single biggest differentiator wasn't IQ, education, or family money. Lucky people scored significantly higher on one trait: openness to experience. They talked to strangers more, varied their routines more, and said yes to invitations at nearly twice the rate.
The "unlucky" group followed the same routes, ate at the same restaurants, and talked to the same 5 people. Their networks were closed loops. No new inputs, no new collisions.
Luck isn't random. Luck is surface area. And surface area is a function of movement.
The lobster emoji is doing more work than most people realize. Lobsters grow by shedding their shell when it gets too tight. The growth requires a period of total vulnerability. No protection, no armor, soft body exposed to the ocean.
That's the cost of movement nobody posts about. You have to be uncomfortable first. The new shell only hardens after you've already moved.
