Elon Musk moved his businesses (SpaceX, X, Tesla) to Texas to escape the liberal woke mind virus in California, and now Texas is a blue state.
I love that for him.

The best news tonight?
Trump will NOT be able to appoint a new Supreme Court Justice.
That alone is HUGE.

BREAKING: Virginia has just repealed its constitutional ban on same-sex marriage.
And codified abortion rights into the state constitution.
On the same night.
This is not a blue wave. This is a tsunami.

Something is changing in Britain.
Europe isn't somewhere foreign. It's our neighbourhood, our shared history, our friends and families.
We belong in Europe. Not because we're any less British, but because being British has always been part of being European.

ONE THING HAS BECOME CRYSTAL CLEAR THE LAST 24 HOURS, NO WAY IN HELL DID TRUMP WIN A FREE AND FAIR ELECTION IN 2024 🤷

Hungary did it.
Serbia did it.
Brazil did it.
Now the USA is doing it.
People are saying YES to a world WITHOUT hate and division.

I’m fed up with certain politicians saying we need to “respect” the result of the 2016 Brexit referendum.
A decision by a narrow majority 10yrs ago that turned out to be a disaster does not have to be respected.
If a democracy cannot change its mind it ceases to be a democracy.

Trump will REMAIN President, but what he CAN'T do now:
1. *Can't pass any law:*
Needs Parliament. With Democrats at 90, all his bills will be blocked.
2. *Can't get money:*
Parliament controls the budget. No funding for his MAGA projects, Wall etc.
3. *Faces Impeachment Risk:* Democrats can start investigations and even move impeachment.
4. *Can't appoint Judges/Officials freely:* Senate will block his picks.
5. *Can't do big foreign deals:*
Trade deals, war funding needs Parliament nod.
In short: He will stay in the White House, sign Executive Orders, but Parliament and Courts can overturn them.
He becomes a *Lame Duck President* - President in name, powerless in reality.

Fascinating how Leave voters want to know the "cost" of Rejoining.
When:
1) it would be a GAIN
2) they didn't care about the cost of Leaving
Make it make sense 😄

The last Referendum didn't ask if you wanted to be:
-in or out of SM
-in or out of CU
-in or out of FoM, Erasmus, Europol, Euratom
-in a Norway, or Swiss style deal
It's rank hypocrisy to expect Rejoin to specify the exact deal before voting 🤦🤦🤦

Currently on a flight where the predicted turbulence is too great for cabin service, according to the crew. From my view in coach, I can see that first class on the same plane is somehow safely immune from the turbulence.

I've said it many times, Liz. There were many things wrong with the country leading up to the referendum but being a member of the EU was not one of them and the country pulled the wrong lever to fix its problems. @andyburnham needs to ignore the biased commentary and go full throttle in rejoining the EU. He wanted the country to rejoin in his lifetime. There's no better opportunity than when he's the actual PM.

The defence telling the court “he’s actually a nice person this was very out of character and he’s focusing on rehabilitation and self improvement” makes me fucking sick how do these cunts sleep at night

Andy Burnham has just blown the Brexit debate wide open.
The FT reports he told Ursula von der Leyen Britain is ready to look again at closer relations with Europe — potentially including REJOINING the EU.
This is moving very fast.

A friend’s child is down today with a nasty flu-like illness.
Another friend was at a conference where speakers and delegates were talking about the same thing: a flu-like illness lasting two or three weeks, with some of them still suffering from it now.
Are we really still pretending covid disappeared because we stopped talking, testing and reporting on it?
