He asked a teenager to say "excuse me" and the teens parents k*lled him for it.
His name was Bert Atienza. He was 77 years old.
He and his wife Josephine had been married for FORTY-TWO YEARS and on Sunday, June 7th, they went to church.
Then they stopped at the Walmart to do their grocery shopping.
Josephine says a 17-year-old Black female employee came through with a heavy cart and nearly slammed into her.
No "excuse me." No apology. Nothing.
So Bert did what husbands do, he spoke up for his wife.
In his wife's words, he told that girl: "You almost hit my wife with your heavy cart, and you did not even say excuse me or apologize to her."
Josephine says the teenager then THREW A CAN at them as they walked away. It missed.
The elderly couple, not wanting any trouble, just kept shopping.
Minutes later, that girl's PARENTS showed up at the store, found the 77-year-old man and beat him to de*th.
In his wife's words:
"They crowded my husband, one of the adults hit him in the face. He fell down on the floor. I was terrified. I don't know what's going on."

Back in 1922, a West Texas cattle operation moved animals across the country without a single buyer setting foot on the place.
Nearly 90% of buyers ordered by letter. A rancher in Oklahoma mailed a request for 50 head, sent his money to strangers in Texas, and weeks later a rail car pulled up and living animals stepped out.
The Swenson ranches ran over 500,000 acres across West Texas. Ranch manager Frank Hastings, hired away from Armour in 1902, built what he called the mail-order calf business. Yearly booklets went out to Midwest buyers who ordered sight unseen.
Their only asset in that whole system was their name. One bad shipment, one short count, one substituted cull, and the trust that took years to build was gone. So they shipped exactly what they described. Age, weight, quality, no substitutions, no downgrades.
The buyers who got what they ordered came back. Repeat customers bought year after year. The short-term profit from cheating one buyer was nothing next to the long-term value of an honest brand.
That is what direct sale looks like when a ranch's reputation is on the line.

Looking at the past few cycles, we began seeing numerous spotless days about 3-4 years before solar minimum. We are on track for solar minimum ~2029-2031.

California, Colorado, and Illinois have passed laws requiring operating systems like Windows and macOS to collect users’ ages.
California’s law starts in 2027. For now, simply declaring your age is enough, but companies could eventually use facial scans, government IDs or other verification methods to prevent minors from simply lying.
The really important part is that these laws could have effects far beyond the states that passed them. Apple, Google and Microsoft may decide it’s easier to build one age-verification system for everyone rather than completely different systems for each state
