40 people are confirmed killed in the russian double-tap attack with nine glide bombs on the humanitarian aid distribution center in Komyshuvakha. Forty. 30 more are still missing. Some bodies cannot be identified so far. We don't speak enough about this horrendous crime.

I often hear from Westerners that Russians are victims too, that they live in an authoritarian system and can do nothing about the war. That is simply not true, but this post isn't about that. This post is about timing, acting before your democracy turns into a pile of ash and a mad old dictator suddenly starts sending you to war. Before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there was the annexation of Crimea. Before that, the invasion of Georgia. And before that, political prosecutions, the dismantling of democratic institutions, the takeover of the press, and police violence ignored to the point of turning the country into a police state. The time to act was back then. Years ago. Instead, we watched Russian society slowly degrade into a crowd of obedient little sheep. I saw people horrified by police violence jump into their cars and trains to head to the capital to protest and demand change. I saw them stand their ground, refusing to budge even when snipers started shooting. Those people are my people, and that revolution started the beginning of our long, hard fight for our democracy and freedom. And I saw people swallow police violence, repression, and the takeover of the press, until one day, their army started marching through the fields of Donbas, and all they could do was blink like idiots and ask, "What can I do?" Well, duh! America is at the beginning of this road right now, but it is the exact same road. Today, they choose whether they want to fight for their democracy or let it die. Because their time to act is now, not when the police start shooting at peaceful protesters in the streets and their army starts bombing their neighbors.

I just read that the Russian attack on Komyshuvakha, which killed at least 26 people, took place at the very time when bread was scheduled to be distributed to local residents and people from nearby villages. Bread! These people, most likely elderly people and women, were waiting in line for bread when Russia murdered them… 📹: State Emergency Service of Ukraine

To understand Russian culture, understand that Russians just dropped nine multi-ton guided bombs on 60 people that had come to a local school to line up for weekly humanitarian aid distribution.

I have absolutely no doubt that Russia was simply forced to strike yet another passenger train packed with civilians at a railway station in a Ukrainian city, committing yet another mass murder, because the train obviously posed a grave threat to Russia's "legitimate security concerns" over "NATO expansion."

I can't find words. Dnipro 💔 A railway platform is covered in people's bodies after a Russian strike. Russia started this war. Russia continues killing Ukrainian civilians every single day. Russia won't stop until it is stopped.
Dnipro. Oh my God. At least 13 killed in Dnipro - a Russian drone hit a train close to the central railway station. Many more injured. Looks like it was a deliberate Russian strike, not an accident.

12-year-old Artem Koval died in hospital today from injuries he got when a Russian drone struck a park in Nova Vodolaha. His 8-year-old sister, Arina, was killed that day, too. Their mom, Liliia, was also injured. Deepest condolences...
Russians killed an infant and two women in a park in Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv region. At least 14 people were injured in the Russian drone attack, including 7 children. Many people, including families with children, were in the park at the time of the attack.

This is how russia strikes Kyiv with eight S-400 ballistic missiles. Just 20 minutes ago. russia is a fucking terrorist state, and the US administration keeps backing it.

Ukraine was winning the war, so Trump kneecapped Ukraine to help Russia. I wish it weren’t that simple, but it is. Our president is in bed with our enemies.
