Yesterday the government and LNP voted *together* in support of a Bill to allow dumping of our CO2 emissions off the coast of Timor Leste. Super-cosy. Somebody had to provide some opposition.

These ancient walls run for miles, criss-crossing the local Galloway hills. They add beauty to the landscape and provide structure and places of shelter for wildlife. In the valleys and along streams the stones become furred with a layer of soft green moss. 1/12

It’s striking to see Isfahan’s normally bustling historic bazaar empty. Merchants have gone on a 3-day strike throughout Iran, reminiscent of the same tactics that helped bring down Iran’s monarchy in 1979.

This Victorian election will be remembered as the ‘nothing on nature’ election where both majors have announced nothing for this incredibly rich yet degraded state, there is no beyond zero without becoming nature positive @newbury3186 @LilyDAmbrosioMP 🌳#vicvotes

Can you imagine if privileged white male politicians were held to the level of accountability as female Blak politicians. Compare this non-disclosure to the corruption, politicians in bed w mining companies, the sexual abuse they get away with. Government funds their court cases.

Silence like nowhere else. The highest rated world heritage area on earth. If a place like this gets turned into a helicopter retreat for the rich, nowhere is protected. Greed will win. That’s worth fighting against. Thanks for your support. #keeptassiewild #auspol

Shameful: The @smh writing a ‘100 day report card’ for @AlboMP today & not even mentioning the environment is not an isolated case of bad journalism - it is representative of a deeper institutional blind spot among political journos which doesn’t serve readers or public debate.
