People worry about unexpected behavior from agents because they're not deterministic, as if the software they were writing before was more predictable
Claude: I can’t make you Minecraft, but I can make you a game where you mine and then craft
An update on building games with Claude Code:
Last week some of you ran into Claude Code pushing back on game projects it should have just built. We'd added a short rule to the Opus 5.5 prompt to steer Claude away from recreating specific existing games, but it was also kicking in when you referenced one just to describe the mechanics you wanted.
We've updated that rule in 2.1.317. You can name a game to describe what you want and Claude should now build an original game in that genre. If you ask for a copy of the original, it'll offer to build something similar instead.
We want Claude to be as helpful as possible when you're building something original, but also to protect your work if someone else tries to copy it. We'll keep improving this, so let us know if Claude turns down work that's yours. Thanks to everyone who shared feedback!

What do your top 1% of spenders do in their first session that everyone else doesn’t?
Expanded cohorts in Gamebeast: describe any group of users, then break down any chart by it. Retention, funnels, revenue. Then test on just them.

Every game is full of guesses; experiments in Gamebeast give you answers.
Try an idea on some of your users, see what it does, and keep what works. No update required. Or ask your agent: "How do my top spenders react to double XP?" and your work is done.

73% more people used @gamebeastgg through their own agent (Claude, Cursor, and friends) last week than through the assistant we built into the dashboard.
Turns out, even with a clean native experience, the best place for your analytics agent is the one you already have open.
I'll always appreciate hearing what my Roblox dev books have done for people. Parents making games with their kids, people with disabilities able to earn an income, and a whole generation of new creators who found it an easy place to start.
Thank you all for reading❤️

Every live game has a dashboard called “KPIs (final) (2)” that nobody has opened since launch week 😅

Gamebeast dashboards are now yours to fully customize!
- Drag and resize charts
- Add section headings, notes, and images
- Sort boards into folders.
Build one yourself or ask the agent to build and arrange it for you.
We moved @gamebeastgg’s own analytics off PostHog and onto Gamebeast in 1 day.
Now the harder part: we're going to add $50K in MRR in 30 days. I’ll share the numbers as we go, good & bad.

Excited to be speaking at OSA Con 2026 in San Francisco!
I'll be pulling back the curtain on how @gamebeastgg builds the best agentic analytics & operations tooling top developers rely on daily.

Started using our agent on an internal testing project. Our integration was something I set up months ago, and I knew there were gaps. It totally re-instrumented the game and designed new experiments based on the increased visibility.
All live in one click. The future is now🤯

The Gamebeast docs are rebuilt 📚
→ API reference generated from the API itself, so it can't drift
→ SDK samples for every supported platform
