One minute you’re applying for a job from your bedroom in the US, the next you’re packing a suitcase for Africa because of work.
And honestly… I can’t even complain.

Got the job, settled in, then they hit me with:
“You’ll need to travel to Africa.”

I wasn’t mentally prepared for that plot twist.
