The timeline is full of claims. Shipped Calls lets you bet on whether they hold up.
Open a Call from a post. Shipped turns it into a verifiable statement, you set the deadline, and everyone picks a side: Holds or Breaks.
Once the deadline passes, the winning side shares the losing side's pool. Every Call settles onchain.
Calls extend to Shipped delivery bonds, too. When a creator locks money behind a public promise, you can bet on whether they deliver. The outcome is determined by the bond's final ruling.
They make the claim. You make the Call. The evidence decides.

ethereum changed the world because it refused to fit in. it was weird, paranoid, adversarial, technical, uncapturable and contrarian. and it will keep changing the world for as long as it refuses to become what everyone else wants it to be. ethereum is not here to serve someone else's agenda, validate someone else's worldview or become infra for someone else's empire. if you want ethereum to play by your rules, you're probably part of the problem.

It should now be abundantly clear that ETH on Ethereum L1 is a very different beast from stablecoins like USDC and USDT, or ETH on e.g. Arbitrum.
It is time to ask really hard questions: Which “beast” do people really want, and when? And how much capacity should there be to move instantly between them?
Clearly, we still want strongly censorship-resistant assets like ETH and Bitcoin. But in many cases, having an entity that can intervene in the event of a hack can be a positive.
However, the way that power is exercised can feel arbitrary. Is Paolo asleep? Do you have a direct line to Jermey so suddenly they block without court order.
I think it would be good to have assets and rollups that offer an additional layer of protection, but under clear, transparent, consistently applied rules that protect smaller users too, not just the well-connected.
