I thought this was a macOS bug where Terminal couldn't render the blur effect properly, but I was wrong. So, I searched the internet and found a blog explaining the reason behind it. Blur is one of the hardest effects for an operating system to render because it requires a lot of computation and processing power. So, macOS simply skips rendering the blur effect when I switch between apps. Pro tip don't add blur in your Terminal And I don't know why people download third-party terminal emulators like Ghostty You can customize the native macOS Terminal with Zsh and make it much faster than Ghostty unless you're a terminal enthusiast.

Mark my words: people who call themselves “vibe coders” will be the first to be laid off in the future.

Hello guys I was learning about some interesting topics Today, and I thought, let me share them with you. Here’s what I explored: > OS Signals: How the operating system communicates with a running process, like when we press Ctrl+C to stop a program. > System Calls: How a program interacts with the operating system to perform tasks like reading files or working with network connections. > Makefiles: How we automate repetitive tasks like building, compiling, and running projects using simple commands. > Graceful Server Shutdown: How to stop a server properly without interrupting ongoing requests or leaving resources unclosed Maybe I'll share more in-depth backend topics The last two days at college as examiner taught me something important: my competition isn't just upcoming students or recent college graduates anymore. It's people with experience, advanced knowledge, and strong practical skills. It made me realize that there's so much more to learn, and I need to keep improving myself every day

Signing off from college. I finished my work 3–4 hours early, so I decided to sit with one of our college professors. Man, the inside details he shared about the college are things no student knows about ( some dark secrets) I can't even share them online. But overall, it was a fun experience.
Day 2 as an examiner at my college. This time, it was fun. I took the viva of a student who had appeared on some Shark Tank-like show, another student who is running his own startup, and a few others who were really business-minded. Still, they don't know much about coding. But one thing I can guarantee is that they're earning way more than the average SDE. This time, I didn't spend much time taking vivas because I realised that most of them barely knew anything about the code. For one student, I opened his package.json and asked him what the dotenv package does. His answer? "I don't know." Almost everyone at my college comes from a business background, so they don't give a fuck about coding. One student literally came up to me and said: "Sir, I honestly don't know much about coding. My father has a business, and I vibe-coded this project, so please ask me questions at that level." Note : images are enchace by AI

Yoo, just got a call from my college professor! I’m going to be an external examiner for 8th-semester students. This is going to be fun!

Am I witnessing the end of the tokenmaxxing era? Just 4–5 months ago, I used to see CEOs making statements about AI usage and allocating huge budgets to developers just so they could tokenmaxx. Why did they suddenly stop?

I think the moment I stopped making my to-do lists, I literally started getting distracted. Around 3 months ago, I used to plan my day by writing everything down in a notebook, and I would successfully complete almost everything on my list. But the moment I moved everything to digital tools like Notion or TickTick, I started avoiding my to-do lists altogether. I think it’s time to go back to my Stone Age era.

This is what’s happening to me right now. I open LinkedIn and see people sharing how they landed 30–50 LPA jobs. Then I open X to interact with people, and the first thing I see is: “Big win! Made $5K freelancing in just 5 days.” I close X. Then I open Reddit and see: “Guys asking is ₹5 lakh/month enough to survive in Bangalore?” Man, I feel like rich people use social media, while poor people use ration cards. 💀

Can anyone explain how Chinese AI labs are even making a profit? They open-source their models, their inference engines, and even their harnesses. I mean, how, dude? They’re restricted from accessing NVIDIA’s most advanced chips, cut off from U.S. frontier models, and blocked from buying certain U.S. chips. So how are they even pulling off these models while making them so accessible to everyone?
