💜 A favor: If you know of a team using #ElixirLang, #Phoenix, or #LiveView that might benefit from a seasoned dev for tech debt cleanup, stabilization, testing, or docs (part or full-time) - an intro would mean a lot.

👨💻 I learned a lot about #Ecto `validate_length/3` and `:codepoints` today. #ElixirLang

Stubbs didn’t catch Nola because they’re going to need him to pitch the 9th.
🤔 I'm researching small businesses (1–8 people) accounting. Hearing real stories from business owners (or their accountants) would save me from a lot of bad guesses.
20 minutes? No pitch/demos, just questions about setup.

✏️ My pull request for a refund feature grew past 3,000 lines. At that size, a code review can't do its job: reviewers miss things or rubber-stamp it.
So I stopped adding to it and started extracting the unrelated fixes and tests into their own PRs.

🎧 I recorded a podcast with my friends from PhillyCocoa. We talked about my transition from iOS to #ElixirLang and, more so, my recent interest in #localfirst software.

✏️ I updated my now page.
I like to think of a Now page as the things I’d share if you were an old friend, we saw each other, and you asked, “What’s going on?” What are you working on? What are you excited about?

🍿 Honey! Come quick!
The EU #ElixirConf videos from the April conference are coming online. #ElixirLang

✏️ Posted a short recap to #ElixirConf, with a short list of talks I recommend. #ElixirLang
The keynotes and lighting talks are already on YouTube, but I think the rest will follow in the coming months.

👨💻 Posted some follow-up observations about phoenix_test performance. #ElixirLang
TL;DR: Yes, it can be slower (because it is doing more helpful work), but `async: true` should be your first target if you're having trouble with test wall-clock time.

💜 Looking for Elixir consulting work. To get in front of new faces, a "one problem, two weeks, $6,000" offer.
Aimed at one nagging thing: a flaky test suite, a stalled upgrade. The debt that falls on the floor.
An intro would mean a lot. 🙏 #ElixirLang

✏️ CI goes red on a test you never touched; re-run and hope. Nobody on the team can say how often or what it costs.
Your GitHub Actions history knows. I wrote a prompt that reads it, names the flakes, and puts a dollar figure on the re-runs. #ElixirLang

✏️ Phoenix's LiveView test helpers require you to hand-build the form payload and start a fresh pipe after every click.
phoenix_test writes the entire flow as a single pipe from the user's point of view and fails with a focused error. #ElixirLang

✏️ "Building LocalCents: A Local-first Expense Tracker with #Automerge CRDTs"
An educational side project in Elixir, Phoenix, and #Tauri. I share what I learned, including how I surfaced edit and delete conflicts for users. #ElixirLang

☕ Had a nice coffee chat with a former work peer this morning. It was good.
Been doing this all summer, reaching out to folks and staying connected. I won't be at ElixirConf (doing ExMex in Nov), so this is my personal hallway track.
Schedule some time
