Dear @IrvinJimSA and Phakamile Hlubi-Majola,
Unlie you:
- I am not employed by the Union
- I am highly trained with scarce skills, MSc in Biotechnology
- I received training in the next-generation sequencing and analysis in San Diego, California...
I may add here that some of the BEC members were wearing ANC t-shirtss while recruiting for other political parties
Once their efforts have been handsomely rewarded, they then point fingers to the national leadership. That's how traitors work!😊

What you have mentioned here is exactly why I took my vote elsewhere. ANC has given us incompetent councillors for years in my ward. I decided to do something about it this year and I don't feel guilty about it.
Please stop saying black people must UNITE as if they are a homogeneous group:
- some are leftists - some are centrists - some are right wing - some favour narrow nationalism - support Donal Trump and his right-wing politics.
Black are diverse...
And I did criticize them for failing in that aspect! Indeed, they failed to act!

Fair enough, but how do you explain that both the provincial and national leadership not intervening in a case like COJ where their deployee was clearly messing up right on the eve of the LGE🤔
Services are the competence of mayors/executive mayors
- these officials have completely destroyed their own organisation which feeds them
- it's like they INTENTIONALLY worked in the opposite direction - as if testing what will happen on 04/11/2026...
Follow my argument:
In the Labour movement, except in NUMSA, a leader cannot be more powerful than the masses he's leading
- the BEC accounts to the masses - the REC accounts to the Branches
- the PEC accounts to the Regions
- the NEC accounts to the CEC/CC..
By the time the get to Council, the very people CANNOT get themselves to hold the Mayor accountable because s/he has the power to remove them from Council or not appoint them as MMCs - that's where patronage starts -how can you hold your BOSS accountable!
He's being dishonest!
Voters in South Africa are complex - they vote based on several factors.
He must not underestimate the value of the Madlanga Commission - so many names have come out of Madlanga including his. That counts!
I hear you cadre - amasebe allowed that centralisation of power.
- it starts with centralising power to the BECs, then RECs, then PECs up to the NEC
All these should be treated as administrative structures which are held accountable by their constituencies
Branches have become TVET Colleges of Corruption and Rewarding Incompetence.
We see these tendencies from Union members as they try to import the ANC tendencies into the Labour Unions, thereby destroying Unions.
ANC members are busy blaming the NEC when they, themselves, have turned branches into only voting blocks instead of reviving branches as per the document: Through the Eye of the Needle!
Branches have become FACTORIES for FACTIONALISM!
That's the tweet!
Niqalile to shift blame - You ALL failed!
- your ward Cllrs were rude to residents
- your BECs NOMINATED and VOTED incompetent Ward Cllrs since 2021
- your branch members (in their capacity as members of Councils) failed to hold your Mayors accountable...
The catastrophic performance of the ANC in the #LGE2026 is a reflection that:
- ANC Branch members are USELESS - INCOMPETENT - CORRUPT as some of the national officials (NEC) that you're blaming...
