It's just a story in a book of lies
From 1988-1991 I was in a DoD/DIA program in Torrejon Spain
They told me if I told I would look crazy and threatened to send my AF dad to places he would not come back from. I was only 6-8yo
That same program is currently watching my family

There's a saying on American social media:
"Be the American that Japanese people think you are."
I'm Japanese. I've lived in Tokyo my whole life.
So let me tell you what we actually say about you, when you're not in the room.
"When someone falls down on the street, we pretend not to see. We're protecting their pride. Americans run straight at them. They don't care about the pride. They care about the knee." (Office worker, 38)
"An American will stop four lanes of traffic for a family of ducks. And then everyone in the cars claps for the ducks." (Taxi driver, 61)
"If you lend an American a pen, you will never see it again. If you need a kidney, they'll ask your blood type." (Nurse, 45)
"At kids' soccer games, they cheer when the other team's kid scores. The other team's parents look confused. Then they cheer too." (Youth soccer coach, 52, lived one year in Ohio)
"A man sneezed on a bus in Chicago. Eleven strangers said 'Bless you.' He said 'thank you' eleven times. Nobody on that bus thought this was strange." (University student, 21)
"At an airport in Texas, I watched a soldier try to pay for his lunch. The cashier said someone already had. He asked who. She said, 'Somebody who didn't want you to know.'" (Retired teacher, 70)
"American fathers cannot braid hair. But they will watch a video at midnight for an hour so their daughter's hair looks right on picture day." (Hair stylist, 33)
"I ran the Chicago Marathon once. Strangers stood in the cold for hours holding signs for people they will never meet. At mile 20, a man I'd never seen read the name off my bib and screamed it like he'd raised me." (Runner, 48)
"When Americans get lost, they ask a stranger. If the stranger is also lost, they become a team." (Tour guide, 39)
"They ask the waitress her name. And then they remember it." (Restaurant owner, 66)
And one more. From my father. He's 76. He doesn't say much about anything. This is the longest thing I have ever heard him say about another country.
"Every time something terrible happens in America, I watch the news, and I look for one thing.
The people running toward it.
There are always so many."
So, America.
You don't have to become the Americans we think you are.
We're not imagining you.
We're remembering you.
Dear @PeteHegseth would you like to speak to plumbing because our pump to the boiler being dead being "a tomorrow problem" in lodging isn't a very adequate response.
Today i was talking to an AF chaplain. He was talking about the uptick in airmen that aren't ok. We talked for an hr. Provided insights and perspective he didn't know. It gave him in an idea on how to help, and some things to discuss w leadership.
I talk bc it saves lives
Well that's fun. My SUV is out of commission again. Made a weird noise and refused to move. Got it back home, swapped vehicles with dad. 🤦🏼♀️
I coordinate chaos into manageable things. I cant do this without proper information. This weekend it was an entire building 24 rms 14 gst. I was told a story, up to 6 months for a part. 2 hrs after a follow up for timeline, fixed. Our infrastructure is failing @PeteHegseth
Ambush is mrder and mrder is fun

How much attention does your group pay to situational awareness?

1. Someone walking from the property texting on a phone that obviously doesn't belong there.
2. Someone trying to call your dog across a busy road to them.
3.
Taking gc to school when she starts describing a dream she had and in detail tells me about one of the guys and a location I've had "dreams" about for years, but from he perspective. 🤣🤣😵
Me: ya that's ....
Gc; how the hell is that many muscles real.
🤣🤣🤣
Decorum dictates that someone should be holding the arm of women defending stairs to prevent this.
What does military protocol state?
Official date for privatization is August 2027. As much as I love the work I want to stay in the DoD system. It's where I feel I belong. Where I will go I don't know considering we aren't GS. I do very much enjoy working with our military families.
If your child is being bullied so badly that it is visibly affecting them and you have done all you can, Then we as parents must remove them from the situation until the safety of ur child is assured. Damn the schools.

The 9/11 Memorial "Tear Drop" sit's directly across from NYC, in Bayonne New Jersey, just the other side of the Statue of Liberty, yet we hear nothing about it.
This beautiful, 100 ft tall monument was gifted to the people of the United States by the people of Russia in 2006, in memory of all those who lost their lives on that fateful day, September 11, 2001.
The breaking in the cracked façade forms the shape of the two towers.
The giant suspended tear drop signifies the tears of the entire world that day.
Maybe it's something that needs to be known, starting today.
Convo with an airman.
Your struggle isn't less worthy of acknowledgement just because someone else has it worse. Your struggle is yours it is no less painful or hard just because someone else's is different than yours.
On 9/11 I woke up thinking I was having "that nightmare" again only to see my dad watching it live on the news. I went to class, it couldn't be real. I was cornered by men asking what I did. U want to know, I begged for their lives. "They" r still angry it wasn't more
We all post blibs of our life on social not knowing who reads them is dealing w more. Reminds me of an elevator.
We all got on at the ICU all headed to the exit. The lady next to me was leaving her sister to die from brain cancer (life), I got 6 more months w mom.
