The growing use of AI-generated posters by government departments and other institutions will eventually come back to haunt them. By normalising AI-generated visuals in official communication, they are making it increasingly difficult for the public to distinguish genuine announcements from fabricated ones.
People are already creating fake posters that look remarkably similar to official communications. The danger is that misinformation can now spread under the appearance of credibility

As a Capetonian, I can’t agree more.
Mitchells Plain had green parks. It would be watered by sprinkler daily.
Now, it looks arid.
The WC was the top-performing province in terms of matric results before the DA took over the Education Dept in the province.
Look now.

Until the government puts its foot down and provides clear direction on taxi operating rights, we will always be here. The current violence can be traced back to Hermanus, where operators left one taxi association to join another about 10 months ago. We saw a similar dispute over the B97 route in 2021, where 83 people were killed. At the heart of this conflict are questions that government must answer: Who controls taxi operating permits - individual operators or associations? Are permits issued to individuals because of their association membership? And what happens to an operator's permit when they leave one association to join another? These are fundamental regulatory questions that require clear answers.
We condemn the violence stemming from internal fights within the taxi industry in Cape Town.
Our Cape Town Metro Police officers are maintaining a heightened presence around various high risk taxi ranks to protect commuters. The City will act to uphold the rule of law and support SAPS to hold violent criminals accountable.
We will do whatever it takes to make communities safer.

There are only 18km seperating Delft and Newlands but the Spatial separation of Apartheid in Cape Town is so good that all those sitting at Newlands watching cricket won’t even feel a ripple from the insanity that’s burdening their work force today in the Townships. 🤡🤡

Several taxi-related shooting incidents across Cape Town today. Mfuleni, Gugulethu and Khayelitsha.
In Khayelitsha the gunman boarded a taxi carrying schoolchildren. As the vehicle travelled along Japhta Masemola Rd, he shot the driver in the head while the taxi was still moving

Historically to us this word has always been dehumanizing. What’s funny is that even for them and how they use it to refer to non-believers results in dehumanization. It’s incredible how they try to defend it.

I never share demonic alliance bs but skip the propoganda drivel and go straight to the comments. The DA is taking its last breath. We going to bring them under 50% in CT next week. Go out and vote, we can do this, we really can! Do not stay home!!!!
We're on the verge of something truly historic on the 4th of November, with many hundreds of thousands of South Africans considering voting for the DA for the first time ever!
We will repay that trust by working to root out corruption, get basic services working, creating more jobs and making communities safer. We will get your city working for everyone!
You’ve seen how coalition chaos has broken your city. Now we all need to unite behind the DA! 💙🇿🇦🇿🇦👏
Vote DA on 4 November to stop the chaos and get your city working for all 🗳️
