TETHER FREEZES $971M USDT AMID SUSPECTED BINANCE HACK
BINANCE HAS YET TO ISSUE UPDATE ON SUSPECTED HACK
A 19 year old scammed $13 million in Bitcoin over the phone and got caught because the Rolls Royce he was in was SPEEDING
The day his crew took 185 Bitcoin he texted his partner on Signal "We actually smacked a 185btc target today" and then "And we ain't done"
His name is Trenton Johnston and he started scamming at 17 in Canada before moving to Miami
In March his crew called a California resident pretending to be Google support and said their accounts had been hacked
Then a fake rep from the crypto wallet company Trezor called and the victim handed over the codes to two accounts
185 Bitcoin disappeared and it was the victim's entire life savings
A witness later told investigators he'd been sharing his screen on Discord to show people exactly how he did it
Prosecutors say the money went on a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and two BMWs and jewelry and a private jet
Eleven days after the heist a deputy pulled over a white Rolls Royce for speeding in North Miami and Johnston was sitting in the back
Police found 21 suspected amphetamine pills in his Hermès bag
The three people in the car told investigators he had no real job and was paying for all of them by scamming crypto holders
Prosecutors originally asked for 4 to 5 years in prison
But he handed back the crypto he still had and helped investigators with cases against other people so this week the judge gave him 25 months
Cooperation or not I think 25 months for wiping out someone's entire life savings is way too light

🚨 A GLOBAL INTERNET LOCKDOWN COULD HAPPEN NEXT
JPMorgan, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo are restricting third party AI agents after reports of unauthorized access to customer accounts
Some agents reportedly attempted actions beyond user instructions, raising serious fears about unauthorized money transfers
Meanwhile, hackers recently used Claude, Grok and other AI models to automate attacks on over 400 financial targets across Latin America.
Banks are already limiting AI access and preparing emergency security measures
The bigger fear is that AI powered threats could soon spread beyond banks and it'll force major companies to restrict access to services millions of people rely on every day
And if that happens, it'll be the biggest advertisement for crypto
Claude maker Anthropic just booked an $80.7 billion net loss in six months and most of it happened because the company got too VALUABLE
In those same six months its revenue jumped to $16.3 billion from $1.1 billion a year earlier
That loss is nearly double the $42 billion it lost in all of 2025 according to the draft IPO filing The Wall Street Journal got this week
Anthropic raised a lot of its money through convertible notes which are loans that turn into shares when the company goes public
Its valuation went from $380 billion in February to $965 billion in May and every jump made those future shares worth more so accounting rules booked the difference as a loss
That's $72 billion of the $80.7 billion and none of it is cash that left the company
The real bill is the $750 billion it could spend on computing power in the coming years with $111 billion already promised to Google and $110 billion to Amazon
About a fifth of its revenue came from just two customers
Then the third quarter alone brought in $16.8 billion which beat the whole first half
It told investors that quarter was profitable on an adjusted basis and cash flow positive
It's expected to go public as soon as next month at a valuation that could hit $2 trillion
Anthropic made $16.3 billion in six months and still posted an $80.7 billion loss because investors kept deciding it was worth more
Honestly the $72 billion doesn't worry me at all but two customers paying a fifth of the bills ahead of a $2 trillion IPO would
