This is why I'm still short #bitcoin. back to 50k soon AI is the biggest risk to crypto by finding bugs
It’s starting… Binance is the largest crypto exchange in the world. I thought we had more time, but I was wrong. This is only going to accelerate. Nothing online is safe from AI.

New post: "The brain-body gap explanation for obesity" greyenlightenment.com/2026/1… An inequality can explain the failure of popular weight loss advice. Online influencers lose weight despite eating a lot, while their audiences try and fail even when cutting calories really low.

Today's elite admittees are arguably better prepared than in any time in history. Calculus is common among top college applicants. Or good placing in math competitions, which are way harder than pre-college calculus. Or independent, self-directed research. The bar is way higher.

Having a tweet go viral is sorta surreal. Yeah, upon further research last night, a sub 5 min mile for high school boys, although good, is not competitive. And Zuckerberg was nowhere close to being competitive at MMA, although he's in good shape.

I will file this under “things that won’t happen”. Universities are adapting to AI (more in-class exams) already. People have made this prediction for years now.
Prediction: the 4-year college degree is about to get unbundled. A huge number of universities will disappear. The survivors will compress degrees into 2 years and finally be forced to compete on price and employment outcomes. $200k + 4 years + no demonstrated ROI is a broken product, not an education system.

I think the people is people use AI as a crutch, because writing well has always been hard. I can put a draft through Claude, and it will find tons of factual errors and stuff. So I have to decide: do I edit this, and how much? Just having Claude rewrite it would be so much
We're about to enter a period where not reading or writing becomes as ubiquitous as smoking once was. We can hope people will eventually realize this is bad for them, as they did with smoking. But this is far from certain; the cost may not be as obvious.

easier. This would fix the factual errors or the wording, but at the cost of sounding AI generated. So having to both fix the errors and have it NOT sound like AI effectively means having to write second essay. Most people probably quit at the first step, so the result is slop .

Elites really are better than you. It’s not just connections: they are literally biologically better people , like high IQ or the sub 5 minute mile. Or Mark Zuckerberg and becoming near-pro at MMA almost instantly. Just biologically better people.
Interesting bio from a 17 year old Dario - multiple time USAMO qualifier, 2nd at BAMO, Physics olympiad camper, Sumac - Calc BC as a freshman, Real Analysis, Abstract algebra in high school (back in late 90s/early 2000s, where acceleration was much rarer) - sub 5 mile time! brutal IQ mog

The depressing part is it means you cannot just blame a conspiracy. It means you were not good enough.

This is why AI will not obsolete math there are seemingly endless things to prove new results lead to follow-on research

Imagine going to a barber and asking for this haircut. What would you even say? Give me the Cornholio?

Prediction: The Anthropic IPO will not lead to the awaited or hoped for AI crash. It will hold its value, similar to $SPCX. There is enough liquidity and demand to support Space-X, Anthropic, and Open AI each being worth $2 trillion.

If someone with minimal to no background knowledge uses AI to produce math results, do they deserve credit? Yes and no. Intellectually , no. But they also risked capital to produce said results.

Now we're in the bloated "math essay era," similar to AI and politics. In the time it takes me to read all these essays about the "future of math," I can actually just do math.

New post: "Average Is Over: Why AI Won’t Upend the Social Order" greyenlightenment.com/2026/1… Popular predictions of AI collapsing the U.S. economy, being inconsequential, or engendering radical social change or reform--amount to wishful thinking, are contradictory, or are wrong.

lol #bitcoin sucks. see my post from yesterday . QQQ and $btc converged, now begins divergence.
US stock market opened, and crypto started dumping right away. This is 100% manipulation.

Memo: We need a block feature that works. If I block an account I don't want to ever see anything pertaining to it again , even when accounts quote tweet it (those tweets should also be hidden instead of the quoted tweet collapsed). Blocking fails when everyone quotes them.

Just more cope. No one cares what he says. Meanwhile, nasdaq 100 futures up. The buildout is sustainable. No bubble. No crisis. {My experience has shown opinions do not dictate the movement of markets, save for sometimes Trump or FOMC}

Shorting #bitcoin really profitable here as $qqq and bitcoin converge. This suggests $btc will break lower.
