Cracking afternoon in the Irish Centre after the game yesterday. Rob Carney (Steve’s brother) teaching us the right words to the greatest NUFC chant being the highlight. Some fairs cup winners in also telling brilliant stories from yesteryear ⚫️⚪️

Think people are gonna be shocked in the sudden Sunderland surge over the next few weeks by the way. Players coming back from injuries in the numbers as well as the recent confidence from youth. Being wrote off after 7 games is mental when you’re 3 wins away from European spots again.

If anything epitomises the unnecessary state of NUFC online fans, it’s the 2 posts here. Howay man. As much as I adore Howe & will be forever thankful for his full tenure, he’s gone. Equally, pathetic digs about the way he left are ridiculous. Support the current manager ffs
Last season #NUFC were so poor they were saved from relegation by Guimaraes. Howe wasted £200 mil & bailed as he was "tired" 2 weeks before season started. Things would likely be worse had he stayed. The new fella inherited mediocrities (expensively signed by EH) & kids.

Honestly, fuck off back to Newcastle Bruno Guimaraes you fucking Brazilian cunt. How does he even dare start another game for us after tonight? He signed for the league champions and doesn't even command starts. Oh, he plays against Fleetwood and loses us the tie. Fuck off

There's always a tweet 'I'd rather Sunderland won the Carabao than England won the world cup'. It's not a big trophy though.
They win it because their reserves are better than everyone else’s. Newcastle is the only club that takes it seriously as a first team competition. Big clubs like Man Utd won’t give a shit if he’s won a Carabao.

United should sack Carrick and then immediately appoint him as interim manager to sort this mess out

Police called on 3 year old Black boy—for being "too good" at soccer. Officers escorted his family away in front of all the other kids. After league had them tresspassed from the field. “They really called the police on a 3 year old because he had the ball too much," dad said. The young athlete was already playing in a league with kids 2 years older than him. Other parents on the opposing team are heard on video claiming the kid was "trying to put on a show." His mom replied, "Those grown ups huddled up talking about my son... but he ain't doing nothing but playing soccer." Incident occurred at an i9 Sports league soccer game in Winter Park, Florida. This is Eddie Howe’s Newcastle BTW. Tacticos think he is a shit coach cus he doesn’t pull up to training on a skateboard or play some weird ass formations.

Robin Williams warning the US about Donald Trump and his links to underage girls in Miss America Pageants in 2012. Really should have listened.

It’s 31 years since one of the greatest goalkeeping displays in Premier League history. Vinnie Jones between the sticks at Newcastle. Safe hands.

The Premier League is a bloated cumbersome bore. Like a movie franchise that just keeps going because it keeps getting bank rolled on it goes through another flavourless season, clueless about how to make the product seem exciting and fresh. It's such a chore these days.

🚨 Joe Cole on FFP 🗣"I don't think it's fair, now that the drawbridge has been pulled up, that no other fans can have the dream of a Man City or a Chelsea. The people in charge of the rules are protecting the established order." 👏👏 #ManCity #PL

PSR - has had nothing to do with profit or sustainability. Man U is £1:5bn in debt FFS. There is no unifying principle for ‘the good of the game’. Clubs - especially the Red Cartel are motivated by self interest to the detriment of the competitiveness of English football.
BREAKING: Football regulators have reported that 94% of English clubs are loss-making. Sky's @RobHarris has the latest and explains the importance of the report's timing ⬇️

Without financial doping and breaking the rules, that would be 16 of the last 17 going to the ‘Red Cartel’, which kind of illustrates the point You only break their grip via bottomless spending or cheating
Odd this chat about a Red Cartel. It can't be a very effective one given teams in red have won only five of the last 17 Premier League titles. The other 12 have been won by Man City, Chelsea and Leicester. They all play in shades of blue

I don't know how any Newcastle fan can condemn Man City. I applaud everything they did to make themselves competitive. Having to watch a team full of utter shit players 5 years into being owned by one of the richest entities on earth shows how fucked the @premierleague is #nufc

The only valid comparison between now and last season, whilst we operate under the rigged financial constraints, is the club don’t have a recognised goal scorer. We did the four previous seasons and that’s what is required to win games and do well.
I adore Eddie Howe but why the fuck is there a comparison and ‘ told you so’ narrative on here? He was diminished by the bullshit financial rules. He’d had enough and we have to respect that. Home form is going to be key for Jaissle & his team this season. Needs to be supported

It’s this simple. If ManCity loses, ManCity, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Everton, Leeds, Nottingham Forest, whoever …… will never win the league ever again. 4 teams will share the EPL forever or until they run off and relaunch the super league.

This Leeds fan should be given a nobel peace price. This is the most logical fan I have ever had who is not a Manchester city fan. Rival football fans have decided to put their logic minds in the pocket just to give room for their delusional selves.

Tell you what, if we don’t beat Coventry after seeing what the players have to eat at the Knox, I’ll be incredibly disappointed.
