It’s difficult to decide who to vote for. Does it really make a difference? Will any of these people do what they say? Are they mostly bought and paid for? (The cynic in me says, yup) Then I think about how many people sacrificed so I can participate in the process by placing my vote …. And for a few minutes I feel like my act of voting does actually matter 🗳️ (At least to me on this day) MAKE READING GREAT AGAIN 📚😉 #Vote #ElectionDay #Merica

Beautiful drive to eastern Tennessee in time to see some spectacular colors. And then lunch and hike with my son at Buffalo Mountain Park. Grateful for the time, spent with him and wonderful time in nature.

#HappyHalloween Went hiking with a local hikers group & we were told to dress up. I decided to “bless” everyone 😆 at Crowders Mtn After the hike I swung through the Two Kings Casino. Not much of a gambler. I always view it as entertainment, and pretty much always lose. So rarely go, Well … After walking around the gaming area I stopped at a machine and put in $20. Bet $1.60 & 1st spin got 12 bonus spins. Didn’t bet again, proceeded to cash out with $87.70. One spin and I was done. The house doesn’t always win when you show some discipline 😆 #Halloween #Halloween2026

RIP Sir Patrick Stewart "He explored the human condition in all its poetic complexity and brought hope not only to the far reaches of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but into science fiction’s most iconic final frontier aboard the Starship Enterprise." -Stewart's longtime spokeswoman Kelly Bush Novak

#ThrowbackThursday Working on a short story for a 🤫 new project with scenes set partly in the 🇺🇸 & also overseas. Instead of relying on internet research only I’m digging into my noggin & using boots on the ground locations for some fun action scenes "The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” - Quote traditionally attributed to Saint Augustine

Was driving to Pinehurst Saturday morning to golf with friends and while listening to @joerogan he mentioned the @RedClayStrays Surprisingly I had never heard of them. Streamed their @Spotify playlist and got immediately hooked. As fate would have it they played near me in Greenville, SC the next night/Sunday. Grabbed a last minute floor ticket and WOW was blown away. What a performance. Favorite show of 2026 🫶 If they are playing near you … GO SEE THEM!
