MITCHELL: I don’t think it’s that awesome that Rs would get wiped out in a bunch of seats, but there is an added benefit. They can try to win those seats back in the next general election, and that’s where you’ll actually get change in the party.
Primaries don’t change the party because the establishment defends its own.
When you get a blue wave election, eventually you’re going to get a red wave election. That’s when you get the trucker in the state legislature, the guy who doesn’t know anything about politics and is super based.
Until they come up with a better way, I think that’s what we’re going to see.

Propositional nationhood, not communism, is the primary ideology behind tearing down confederate statues. Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee were heretics; they fought for Virginia, their beloved soil, and their countrymen by blood.
They did not fight for universal ideals or for individual human rights. They fought for their heritage and their way of life and their culture and their particular freedoms. That is why their statues are being torn down.

I would say that if you're a man and your wife attended this event, you need to immediately fight to remove your children from her custody. She is a threat to them and to you. And I don't say that lightly. The problem is that every court in the country will side with her, not you. Because women actually have the exact sort of unfair institutional advantage that feminists say men possess.
I’m so sick of my country and her people being whored out to another country, no matter which country that is.

What is the fix we need for our polity? I have little doubt that @ZacharyGarris will succeed in an appeal, but the asymmetric relationship between the court and the accused means that even the most malicious persecution is impossible to respond to.
Deut. 19:18-19 gives support for an automatic investigation into the lower court who's decision is overturned on appeal.
What happened to my friend @ZacharyGarris was a travesty of justice. Not only did they convict and suspend him from ministry for what can only be described as a few “mildly harsh tweets” at best, but at trial they did not even admit any evidence for the second charge nor did they have any witnesses testify thus taking away the right of Garris to defend himself.
This whole things comes across as pure malicious law fare.
It must been made right.
