It is with a heavy heart we bid farewell to the legendary Eric Bauza. He lent his incredibly versatile talents to voice Mako. Eric brought such an original take to this character and we are forever grateful. We love you, Eric. 🦈 ❤️

Knew Eric a good long time. He taught me what makes a winning audition. He encouraged me when I was just a kid. Eric Bauza was such a good guy. Too god damned early. We were supposed to get a drink. He invited me out, but we got too busy. We never got a picture together, just us. I'll regret that. Rest well, Eric. Everyone's brother, everyone's cool uncle. I'm going to miss you horribly. I'm sorry, I'm usually better with these... It's just been too many deaths in such a short time. Words fail. My chest is caving in.

James Watkins did amazing with Clayface as well. After the transformation, I was stressed the whole time like Uncut Gems. Was refreshing how visually creative the kills were for a shapeshifter! I really admire the VFX and design artists who worked on Clayface

I watched the double feature of clayface and wildwood with some friends yesterday and I’m so disappointed more people haven’t gone to see wildwood. It’s 10x better than what the trailers make you think, refreshing storytelling and amazing animation…

I feel like artists starting a game art career as a junior/entry are prone to getting overwhelmed with pretty contradicting advice from seniors about whether specializing or having more than one skill in your portfolio will lose you a job…

If you don’t have a formal art education, ur college didn’t offer art programs that teach industry standards for game art, dropped out… I’d reccomend you scrape by with a non-art job that lets you dedicate some time each day to studying seniors’ portfolios/advice…

I highly reccomend watching videos from Tyler Edlin, Kelly Daley, and Marc Brunet… They’re specific to concept art roles, but they have genuine advice that could help you in any game art roles. Build your portfolio, apply for any listing, and find what makes you stand out
