!! My Propstore #StarTrekDiscovery wins are here! Proud owner of my first two wardrobe pieces: Commissioner Vos' Trill robe from "Forget Me Not" and Dr. Attis' Tikhov uniform from "Die Trying".

This was the moment I had dream of, the moment I had feared. Patrick Stewart walking onto the bridge of the USS Enterprise that I had recreated. Would he hate it would he love it. What would this moment feel like. For months we agonized over every detail, then the moment came and he walked onto the bridge and moved to the chair that had helped define his career and he sat down. I clicked the shot as that smile fell over his face. This is how I will remember him. Such an honor to have had the opportunity to work with such an extraordinary individual. He will be greatly missed.

If you haven't had the chance. Listen to his autobiography on audiobook as he narrates it himself. I listened to it on one long roadtrip during a very challenging time and it's truly a gift.

I know, I know, we're all very excited about some alien crewmembers seen in the Enterprise shuttlebay in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise" but nobody is talking about the Axanar officer in sickbay ⬅️, a species first seen in #StarTrekENT's "Fight or Flight"➡️! 1/2

A brief throwaway movie line that I think about all the time in Congress and the U.S. government, delivered by Captain Kirk in Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan- “You have to learn why things work on a Starship.”

Here a George S. Kirk's personal logs from #StarTrekSNW's "Orders of Magnitude", fully legible and kindly shared by Timothy Peel.

Waaay back when we built the TOS-style bridge replica for the Enterprise episode, "In a Mirror, Darkly," I tried an experiment. I asked Alan Kobayashi to make hundreds of small, clear labels, each with a numeric code. >>

59 years after "NCC-1700" appeared on the starship status display in #StarTrekTOS' "Court Martial"↖️, 51 years after a graphic of NCC-1700 was identified (non-canon!) as the USS Constitution in Franz Joseph's Star Fleet Technical Manual ↗️, 44 years after said graphic appeared in "Star Trek II" and "III"↙️ and 38 years after that same graphic appeared in #StarTrekTNG's "Datalore"↘️, #StarTrekSNW's "Orders of Magnitude" finally firmly confirms that the registry of the USS Constitution *is* NCC-1700 😊
While I haven't found the "King Mei Hotel" neon sign yet, it apparently originated from Paramount's "Another 48 Hrs." (1990) starring Eddie Murphy before it found its way to Turkana IV in #StarTrekTNG "Legacy." youtube.com/watch?v=s5Rub4xG…
Among the restaurants neon ads at the Port of San Francisco in #StarfleetAcademy's "Series Acclimation Mil"↙️ is an establishment called "King Mei". This can be traced back to Turkana IV in #StarTrekTNG's "Legacy"↖️➡️ where the neon sign appears on the ceiling of one of the tunnels. A deep, deep cut! 😃

Trill Commissioner Vos’ laced hand covering, same rubber-y material and as the zipper cover design on the back of the robes. (Reminds me of Wonder Woman!) #StarTrekDiscovery
As a huge Trill fan, *super* excited to have gotten a Trill piece from the auction, from an influential direction-setting episode!! Andrew Shaver as 32nd century Trill Commissioner Vos. #StarTrekDiscovery

We never see them super clearly, but the Trill Commissioner robes also cover flowy pants of a different material, with an elastic waist. #StarTrekDiscovery
(Unfortunately, my lot did not come with the Trill Commissioner shoes/boots/slippers.) Also, just realizing that wardrobe tag read "Vox" instead of Vos! #StarTrekDiscovery
