Two truths:
1) If you are waiting for the perfect candidate. that person does not exist.
2) If you are waiting for government to fix things, that will never happen.
The most you can do is to VOTE and enact as much change as you can in your little sphere of influence. Start locally. And PRAY!
It will never be exactly the way you think it should be.

As for me, I forgive you because it's the right thing to do, and I know Jesus has forgiven you. But that doesn't absolve you of consequences. I think your political aspirations may be a failed pipe dream. Just sayin'.
I am writing this without consulting my lawyer because it is the right thing to do, regardless of the legal implications. In early August, I made a terrible mistake by claiming that Byron Donalds and Cory Mills were under federal investigation. I received this information from someone I trusted, but I accept the DOJ’s public statement that neither man is under investigation, which means that I bore false witness.
As a Catholic, I take the Ten Commandments seriously. After speaking with my priest and going to confession, I have a moral obligation to publicly retract my statement and apologize.
I apologize to Byron, Cory, and their families for what I said.
To be clear, neither man nor their lawyers asked me to write this, and neither has ever contacted me about it.
I sinned against my fellow man, and I am sorry. I ask God for forgiveness and pray that I can make amends.
In Christ,

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about Jennica's choice of @PassagePress as the publisher, mainly because of the delay, but I knew her reasoning seemed sound. Some of you DM'd me and advised me to convince her to go with another publisher. Obviously, these people don't know her well bc I don't convince her to do anything! I occasionally "suggest."
Thank you to @PassagePress
For stepping up to the challenge! Check out their website. Very cool stuff in time for Christmas! Great kids' selection. passage.press

Abdul El Sayed’s family has strong ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s hatred of Jews is not some closely guarded secret. It is embedded in the movement’s ideological history.
For decades, its leaders have demonized Jews, spread antisemitic conspiracy theories and justified violence against them.
Hamas emerged from the Muslim Brotherhood. Its founding charter explicitly called for the killing of Jews.
These are historical facts.
Telling Jews that their safety relies on a member of the Muslim Brotherhood is like standing at the gates of Auschwitz telling Jews the gas chambers are mere showers.
Help get @abdulelsayed elected to the senate! Jewish safety depends on a real multiracial democracy—and Abdul is the one fighting to protect it.

We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too.
We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries.
That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next.
Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells.
Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it.

“If you don’t confess, if you don’t sign this paper, we’ll rape your sister in front of you.”
In January 2026, 21-year-old twin sisters Taraneh and Romina Rahimi were dragged from their beds by the IRGC following anti-regime protests in Iran.
They have been abused, tortured, denied medical treatment and threatened with rape and sexual abuse.
Taraneh’s injuries are reportedly so severe she cannot walk.
In August, following a sham trial where they were denied legal representation, the girls were convicted of “waging war against God.”.
Taraneh was sentenced to DEATH.
Romina was sentenced to 25 YEARS in prison.
For protesting against a brutal Islamist dictatorship that denies women their most basic human rights.
This is the Islamic Republic’s justice system.

In case you still don’t realize how fucking grotesque this is:
Singing and dancing in public is ILLEGAL in Iran.
For years, Iranians have used song and dance as a form of protest against the Regime. Many have been arrested, tortured, and disappeared for doing so.
Meanwhile CNN films a group of Jewish girls who are literally being forced to sing and dance for an international audience, and presents it as reality.

CNN went to a Jewish girls’ school in Iran to film an exploitative propaganda piece for the Islamic Regime.
There is NO FREE PRESS in Iran. No freedom of speech. No freedom to dissent.
The Regime punishes dissent with execution and terrorizes its own citizens with kidnapping and torture.
Countless teenage girls are currently being tortured in Iranian prisons for protesting against the Regime.
What exactly did CNN expect these children to say? That they hate their compulsory hijabs? That they fear their government? That they want freedom?
These girls were threatened to perform for CNN at the risk of putting their families in danger.
They literally have a gun to their heads while being forced to jump and dance in hijabs, and CNN is presenting this disgusting spectacle to the world as some heartwarming snapshot of Jewish life in Iran.
It’s absolutely grotesque.
100,000 Iranian Jews, including every member of my family, fled Iran because of religious persecution under the Islamic Regime.
Using vulnerable Jewish children living under a Radical Islamist dictatorship to whitewash that dictatorship is not journalism. It is propaganda.
CNN should be absolutely ashamed.

When the Islamic Regime seized power in 1979, over 100,000 Jews lived in Iran. Today, fewer than 10,000 remain.
If @fpleitgenCNN genuinely wanted to report on Iranian Jews under the Islamic Regime, he could have interviewed the hundreds of thousands Iranian Jews whose families fled Iran.
We have a lot to say about what life is like for Iranian Jews in Iran today. And we’re not at risk for speaking the truth.
Instead, he put cameras on one of the most vulnerable Jewish communities in the world, and presented their coerced responses as journalism.
A community who would be imprisoned, tortured and executed if they spoke against the regime or showed any support for Israel.
Both Fred and @CNN should be ashamed of themselves. This isn’t journalism.

REMINDER: There is no free press in Iran.
The Regime decides who CNN interviews, monitors every word, and controls what airs.
Every time CNN does a feature on “Life in Iran,”they’re intentionally distributing Regime propaganda to western audiences.
